I'm really glad to see you pointing this obvious financial prep out to the prepping community. People can start dollar-cost-averaging into Silver and Gold with very little money. They just need to get started and not stop. I started with $20 per pay period, and now I have purchased over 1,000 ounces of Silver. This is great advice, if you want to carry wealth into a new system or have additional items to barter with during and immediately following an SHTF situation.
Fiat is she–yat
1964 ST Louis Cards won World Series against Yankees! And the Yanks, like today's democrats, were backed with so much money they bought the best players. That series proves the underdogs can win!
You're concept is on point, but your math is wrong. Another way to look at it…. the average price of gas in 1964 was $0.30/gallon. That 1964 quarter could almost buy a gallon of gas back when it was minted…. the same quarter today could buy a gallon of gas right now. Paper devalues… a 1 dollar bill in 1964 could buy over 3 gallons of gas. How about now?
The spot price of silver as I'm typing this is $22.00 exact. The standard conversion formula to get the actual silver weight in 90% Constitutional silver coins is to multiply the face value by .715. For example, the actual silver content in a 1964 quarter would be .715 x .25 = .179 oz. Then multiply .179 x the current spot price of $22.00, and you get roughly $3.94. So actually those 4 1964 quarters would be worth $15.76.
UPDATE – Heads up Lidl fans. Lidl is restocking the Lidl brand pasta that sells for 92 cents/lb with Ronzoni pasta which sells for $1.69/lb. Only a few types of cheap pasta left on the shelf. Here in Virginia Beach, Va
I'd like to have a vault at Gringot's for my assets.
Fast Food workers in CA in Jan 2023 minimum wage for all fast food workers $22. Bigmac $15 incoming, lol.
In South Africa in 70s my dad earn as post office worker R200 pm.. That paid the bond and electric bill and water and months groceries and 90 was R2000 pm and then we passed away in 2004 and my mom would get paid half that as widows get less.. And it took 20 years to increase to R3000, which is ridiculous as she pensioner on fixed income s can barely come out every month!!!
Even groceries and take aways in the 80 s and 1990 s you will get so much, nothing goes far anymore!!!!
Other prices I remember from the 70's
2 pieces of gum for a penny
All candy bars were 10 cents (and twice the size or larger then they are now).
used to get 4 single liter pop bottles for a buck.
A dollar could get you a fun meal at Burger Chef.
Gas was around 20 to 30 cents a gallon.
Houses were 10 to 15K each, and cars were a couple thousand.
Bags of chips were under a buck apiece.
Movie tickets were around a buck and popcorn was like 25 cents.
A loaf of bread was under a dollar and some were like 3 to a buck.
Just a few I remember.
In the early 60's. Where I grew up in TN, in the summer, the local theater (there was only 1, 1 screen), twice on Saturdays, a Triple Feature Matinee (Roy Rodgers, Grant Autry, Lone Ranger, Hop Along Cassidy, Three Stooges, etc etc).
You get to see the movies, a reg pop corn and coke for $0.25.

Correction: 1964 McD price was 15 cents for each. 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 cokes and you get a dime back. I think the shakes were 40 cents. 1.60 wage. 45 rpm records 69 cents. Of course rent on a three bedroom was $125 a month. Big bucks. Percentage of homeless—3%.
I did the calculation. If you invested $100 in the S&P 500 in 1964 and reinvested the dividends, you would have $26,284 today.
Thats a WAY better than holding 100oz of silver from 1964.
I work at a big restaurant supply store and we just learned this week that our cheaper BEET sugar won't be available again until next year, maybe February. Still can get sugar cane c&h
Chicken in down but eggs are still fairly high.
Lettuce prices are insane because it's hard to get right now, alot of our customers won't be able to offer salads or traditional lettuce for burgers. Baby salad mixes are the best bet because they can harvest them in 30 days, cut the leaves and have more in another 30 days maybe less.
Better be focus on OUR LORD HIS KINGDOM.NOT WORLDLY. YOUR souls DEPENDS ON IT. WHAT WORTH YOUR SOUL?
Can't y'all think or need man tell y'all what to do?
Waste be threwing on streets won't be any good y'all. Don't be stupid! Sold out. Go cashless lmao what do coins going do y'all. Won't be any good!!!
Federal minum is 7.25, but almost no where actually pays it unlike in 1964 when almost everywhere paid the minimum. A small burger and fries in 3.67$, minimum wage is 15 an hr in my state. Current scrap silver value on a pre 65 quarter is about 3.25$.
LMAO WHAT JOKE
Great video. A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work. I’m so happy I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $9,000 investment every 21days
