Good insight. Need to figure out the number and not necessarily just see how big the number can get.
Question, you mentioned IRA being $200k higher vs Roth IRA. Wouldn’t the Roth be better for not paying taxes on growth?

Currently 41. Been watching Jazz Wealth since 2019. I enjoy your daily stock ticker news among other legit youtube financial channels (Plain Bagel, Money Guy show, Holy Schmidt, Cooper Academy to name a few).
Currently have my savings building, have my daughter's custodial savings and college fund growing, and putting away 21% of my income from my 2 jobs to both my 401ks. Been putting away for retirement for almost 6 years. I started late, but Im playing a lot of catch-up.

I'm 50 and don't plan on retiring for another 5 years. My pension fund of 500k is fully invested in stocks. The value of the fund has dropped 20% in the past 12 months. Would you advise switching some of the fund out of stocks into less risky assets, or should I sit tight and ride the storm ? Keep up the good work.

60 retired early. I have Roth account but also standard 401k. That 401k came extremely handy because I need to have a minimum income (around $19k) to qualify for ACA Silver plan. Withdrawal from 401k makes it possible, so does Roth conversion. Qualified this way for zero fees plan.
