I see this video is about a year old. I wonder if you guys have changed your opinion at all about 401k's? I ask because I see many financial experts saying lots of negative things about them as a retirement vehicle. In fact as I understand it, they were never designed to be a retirement vehicle. Your thoughts?

Right now, I have 401k with Vanguard 2060 Target Date. I realized that it has a little bit higher expense ratio and also I am 26 y.o. I think I can be more aggressive. I want to change my current fund to other index funds. If I sell my current fund and buy a new fund will have to pay taxes and penalty in the next year's tax report?

  39. anthony brisita

Love the info, not all 401ks are the same !!!

  40. Brian

One question I have always wondered see if u can answer this question for me. I contribute to a ROTH 401K thru work with a employer match. The match I know is considered traditional 401k. When I get to retirement age and withdrawal from this account in retirement do I have the option of only pulling from the ROTH 401 PORTION OF IT only so not to trigger taxes ??? Then at 72 I would take the RMD's ON on the Employer contribute portion?? How does it break down ?

  41. Gale-Ann Davis

Thank you for such valuable information. But does this also work for a 403b?

  42. oooohmysoooosexy

Hello, I’m new to all of these. What do you mean when you say “max out”?

  43. Seth R

Love you guys and your advice! Your family is beautiful! I just jacked up my 401(k) contribution and opened a Roth IRA account. Looking forward to saving up and retiring as early as possible. I'm hoping that with my investments and my home I can maybe retire in around 10 years when I'm in my late 40s and spent the second half of my life spending my days doing something I actually enjoy. Thank you so much for the videos!

  44. Tom Kenny

    God bless you both.
