Great video as always Ari! I think for a lot of companies if they have to cut costs, Microsoft's packages/services will be one of the last to go as they are key to a lot of businesses' day to day runnings … even though it's a cyclical stock in a lot of senses (and therefore not quite as recession proof as Healthcare/customer staple companies) it does have many revenue streams and a lot of loyal customers!

EOG does special dividends most quarters too, It has a good amount of cash on hand

  4. Russ Knopf’s Dapper Dividends!

Nice picks Ari. Would love to add ABBV but I’m struggling with price anchoring, as I was buying them in the $70 – $100 range. There’s always great deals to be had, but harder to locate when the market goes up, right?

  5. EddieV Investing

Nice update Ari! I've been focused on JNJ lately but do have an eye on ABBV. Definitely will grab some when it drops a bit

I think that the Fed finally has some dry powder in their arsenal for the first time in over a decade… That's a good thing

  7. XanderDDS

simply stating the dividend yield as a means to shock viewers is disingenuous unless you also review the dividend payout ratio

Great video, very informative, thank you.

I do hope MSFT drops. I definitely want to add more to this.

  10. Ben Smith

These dividend stocks keep popping up. About time to buy risk. Counter the market.

  11. Will

I’m planning on adding to MSFT and Apple this year !

  12. Aaron Quinn

Do any of these have expense ratios? I would assume not since he didn't mention it.

  13. Richard Thorne

Nice overview and I own some of the stocks you covered. I own 152 shares of TROW with plans to get to 300. I have a PUT on ABBV at $140. I own 200 shares of MSFT and been selling covered calls. I own 250 shares of MAIN which is my BDC.

  14. Michael Friend

ARCC dividends haven't increased much over the years and is prob taxed as ordinary income

  15. Savanna

Thanks for the highlight, your very wise man.

  16. Be Wowed

EOG has a 2.55% dividend according to Yahoo.

  17. James Kilcoyne

Yahoo Finance shows dividend as $3.30, paid quarterly. Where'd this $7.00+ divie come from?

  18. Duke of Prunes II

More great picks, but Microsoft my favorite stock, period. Definitely a stock where you're playing the long game, but about as solid as a tech stock can be.

  19. MK

The only one not sure about is ARCC that dividend is attractive to get people to buy in on the stock, but is that high dividend sustainable? And the capital growth isn't the best. Gonna take awhile for that one, plus not sure I understand the biz completely. They must have alot of cash flow

  20. Bala Brewster

Great video Ari. I agree on MSFT and ABBV being great dividend picks. Interested to know your thoughts on SPHD & SCHD at the current prices? Keep up the good work.
