Dont worry. In a year and a half that $70 will be worth $100

  2. renok_archnmy

Just wait till they give you $25k margin limit on that $70 and you join the club.

  3. peepeedog

Look at this rich asshole with $70.

That’s the beauty of “utility of money” for you, losing 50% of 40 bucks is realistically not life altering….

Now, losing 20,000 of your 40,000 life saving will hurt A LOT MORE

Whereas losing 2mil of 4mil funny money, meh…. Whatever. Tax write off.

  8. LAxCalibur

I started with $200 literally a week ago and I’m at $800. Not too shabby.

  9. MPM519

Ya it’s a difficult game when you’re afraid to lose all of it. $2000 to me is a large amount of money.

  10. Walpurgisborn

    *Had* $70 invested…

  11. Neo1331

Thousands? Remember 6 months ago when people were posting $100K+ losses?

  12. GreenFlavoredMoon

Oh no my 40 dollars is now 39.67 what ever will I do

Next day it’s back to 40.02 yay

This place used to have people with real jobs and now it’s teenagers with fast food paychecks or allowance

  15. MBA2016

If my portfolio moves less than $10K in a day then its a pretty low volatility day.

    Next week: what’s options?

The week after: how do I recover the money I lost

Months after: going back it boys just got some dough

    Week after: I’m god

    Week after: is Wendy’s hiring?

  17. my_trout_is_killgore

Surprised they didn’t give you a 2k margin account so you can really hurt yourself

  18. Jedimastah

I have invested in some companies and the only ones in the green are gme and tsla

  19. MPM519

    I’m with ya. I’m trading $2000.
And being down $400 is nothing compared to some of the regards in here.

When Casino opened today I went down 900 on my overnight puts instantly. By lunch I broke even and exited. Didn’t flinch or even care to be honest.

Reading this thread and knowing I’m not in a financial position to risk losing 900 overnight consistently has changed my perspective.

I’m going to gamble more tomorrow but switch to weeklies instead of FDs. Thank you for centering me OP.

  21. haidekgv

this do be me, I invested 200$ and cry over -10$. Meanwhile, there’s people* here that lose 300.000$… I quietly stay in my corner and watch you guys from there

  22. Willumz19

Went from $1900 to $10 I keep putting $50 in to save myself but I just lose it

  23. BlackOpz

Dont Worry. The $70 you will lose 50X and more would have bought a nice car. So smile about your losses and account blowouts yet to come… You’re already a Honorary WSB Member.

  24. Gucci_Loincloth

Even when I was lurking blackhat boards 10+ years ago I understood that $70 was nothing in investing lmao. If you think that’s a start to just playing around, stop while you can. I went in with maybe $800 when I was younger and came out with $1400 a couple weeks later on LTC. Took doge with $8,000 and made a lot more. Missing GME seems like I missed a lot of fun. Made some off BBBY as well because I saw people talking about it on ‘New’ a week before the storm. Just be patient and don’t expect anything out of $70.

    You have to learn somewhere.
Clearly no one here has learned a damn thing, so don’t go all firing off and being the first. Nobody likes a showoff.
