  6. inkslingerben

He is equating capitalism with investing. How many goods has his private investment firm produced?

  7. sporkoman

Haha it makes my 2022 declining equity curve worth just to see the billionaires pinched. Stfu you’ve been robbing retail blind for years, take your oats big boy.

  8. last-resort-4-a-gf

Faith in capitalism. If his work ethic and effort put into producing hasn’t changed then why is he seeing less profit?

He is relying on cheap debt and labour ? So he’s not responsible for his own success ?

  9. norcal313

The printer is what fucked us.

  10. always-indifferent

I’d be happy if he just spat on it first

Ok I hate this sub but it’s in my feed all the time and I see a ton of powell hate(coorect me if im wrong) which I understand from your guy’s perspective but as a biden bro I’m curious with inflation so high what else can he do. This is the feds only measure to cool the economy and dipshits are stilling buying like interest in 2%. Genuinely curios about your perspectives, thank you.

  15. Starrun87

    Lol first time?

  16. SaltyVanilla6223

I’m also hoping that the FED stops hiking. But can someone explain to me what stopping degenerate money printing, which balloons shitty kick-starter projects into multi-billions dollar companies, on paper, has to do with the end of capitalism?

  17. SuspiciousStable9649

    Powell givith, Powell takith away.

  18. HeyHihoho

That’s what happens when you have the same group of careerists patting themselves on the back for generations while doing an ever more atrocious job and never getting fired or removed.

  19. Brassballin

Barry Billionaire is a Bitch rates were too low for too long

  20. Jemis7913

debasing the USD by 98% in less than 2 decades is perfectly fine. the fed (not really) trying to control one of the two mandates of its job and they are destroying america from within

mandates; keep interest low and keep jobs numbers high.

  21. [deleted]

i don’t think the rate hikes are going to fix inflation as long as oil is high

  22. SierraBravoLima

Barry loves bull market and printing money. Does he know market hasnt ranked yet.

  23. Huckleberry_007

    shit bitch, i wish

  24. ipassedthe65

He’s right, if things continue on this trajectory for another 6 months, somewhere along the way something is going to break. The other issue is the Fed has continually been wrong. Remember the Dot plot last year? See where we are now? If the mortgage and housing market crack and you raise the unemployment level you’re artificially creating some version of 2008.

None of this needs to happen. Looking at where CPI is being calculated. It’s going to drop like a rock by summer regardless of what rates do. Well provided they don’t go down. I mean that could stimulate things but even if we stayed neutral right here. Inflation is going to fall off a cliff, that’s just math

I don’t really see what the point in stress testing the economy is? You blow up some mortgages, blow up some businesses? Why…

  25. KnostyMcPot

Faith in capitalism… sounds like a lunatic. What does capitalism have done for you? Capitalism gave you guys like Kenneth Griffin, Elon Musk, Donald Trump and so on…. capitalism only made wrong guys rich. And not every avarage American. And if you guys think you could become rich too. Then think why u still not are.
