Cork you just keep some terrible advice
Yes the lady with two 401(k)s and the older one was administered by Fidelity then that means Fidelity net benefits which is an easy transfer to their IRA
If it wasn’t Fidelity net benefits then it would be your standard rollover
And a say that any 401(k) has low cost then that’s not correct the mutual funds that are offered might be a low expense ratio but they’re still the $20-$45 every quarter coming out for administrative costs and those costs are buried in The back pages of the statements to where few people even know they exist

If you roll your old 401k to a trad IRA with Fidelity, you get alot more choices and many funds may have lower fees than the Fidelity 401k.

If I'm flying by myself for a weekend and can put everything in a backpack that fits under the seat in front of me, I can make the ultra cheap airfares work for me. But I've learned how to be cheap from a decade (or is it two?) of listening to Clark Howard.
