MSFT to buy ROKU?

I saw on the Roku forum the Xbox is automatically populating a rich icon in the TCL Brand Roku OS. Given ROKU’s focus on OS and platform w/original content, their beat up share price, and MSFT’s gap in the streaming market— is it just me or does this seem like a natural fit?

    No it doesn’t.

Microsoft has fuck all interest in being a streaming service.

I feel Roku is absolutely a buyout target for a large tech firm. Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Apple are suitors IMO. This would immediately allow them to acquire a device in millions of living rooms, that synergizes extremely well with game, video, and communications streaming. It also allows them to fend off competition from Amazon Fire sticks, which could someday mature even further into the ‘OS for your living room’.

    >It does seem like a natural fit, and I believe that Microsoft would be wise to pursue this partnership. Roku has a strong platform with a lot of potential, and partnering with them could help Microsoft expand its reach in the streaming market.

All of these overpriced tech companies that have been around for longer than I have need to stop these ridiculous growth adventures and just make some goddamn money.

MSFT is already struggling to complete their ridiculously overpriced ATVI purchase. If that goes through, no way.
