This is bad news for stocks, since higher rates make it more expensive for companies to borrow money and can lead to slower economic growth. So far this year the stock market has been surprisingly resilient in the face of rising rates, but if inflation continues to pick up then we could see a significant correction at some point.

   Really is funny how it works. “Hey, the economy is strong and there are places that need workers and there are still some people that need jobs but hey, we are going to kill that so that there will be less jobs open and even more people that need jobs.” If that doesn’t scream we need a new system, idk what does. Crypto and proof of stake/proof of work look pretty good compared to the “hey we know you’ve worked here for a couple of years but the government has tightened their monetary policy and we made a bunch of bad business decisions so we’ll need to cut you loose, have fun.”
