    Do not use Vanguard
    They are the worst
They have the longest hold time.
They have the longest hold time on the phone, last time I waited for over 60 minutes, they put profit over service and keep the customer care short staffed.
Things are going down hill since the new corporate has taken over.
They lie when they tell you it is investor owned, because they provide the worst service.

The stock market is still a fantastic tool for building wealth, however, so it's wise to consider investing even if you don't have much money to spare

Ok, this might be a dumb question. But i made vanguard account, its 100% completed, all my bank info set up and ready to go. My question is can i buy ETF’s and it gets paid directly from my money in my bank account? Or thats not allowed and i need to first transfer money to vanguard then buy ETF’s? This is what is killing me cuz im confused. It seems like vanguard is the middle man and so they want u to transfer money to there money fund then u can buy whatever. But i also thought maybe you could just buy the stuff and the money directly comes from bank and so it is easy

Hi! Why is it that when I have to put money in Vanguard Federal Market fund and its subtracted from my total contribution?
Is it really like this and should i match 100% to it?
Does this mean I still have contributions that I can withdraw 59.5 years + or like ROTH IRA is like a brokerage too
How much money should I put?

Hi why does it subtract from my total contribution when I put money in the Federal Market thing?
How much money should I put? Does this mean I still have contributions that I can withdraw 59.5 years + or like ROTH IRA is like a brokerage too that is focused on retirement?

I’m trying to figure out how to rollover my pre-tax 403b into a post-tax Roth IRA…do you know?

  13. Lottawatercress

Hey so I did buy a few shares of bonds and stocks and set up automatic investing. Do I need to log in every month to buy more shares? I'm confused

  14. randy fults

I notice you have to open the account with $3000 do I have to money in there every month for it to grow or is the $3000 all there is to it?

  15. Joseph

Very straightforward and easy, thank you!

  16. R4ndo

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!

So anything that we pick automatically goes in the Roth IRA thing? Like what if I want to invest more but i don't want it to be considered under my roth ira account(cuz i believe that has a max that we shouldn't go over)

  18. My Life Thai

You never showed how to invest for the previous year. Many of us cannot invest the full $6000 to our IRA, so we have to wait until we have our accountant do our taxes after the year is over and then the accountant tells us we can invest $3773 or whatever it might be. How do you choose what year we contributing the IRA for???

  19. Ramsey Adam Clark

I accidentally chose 2021 instead of putting my funds towards 2020, is there a way to switch this or am I only able to deposit the 6000 max for the IRA Roth before April 15, 2021?

  20. Genoveva Koppenol

Thank you for the tutorial. I transferred some founds but is not letting buy anything, and went directly to Vanguard Federal Money Market Fund. What should I do about it? I called Vanguard costumer service but they didn't return my call. I'll appreciate your advise.

  21. William Reymond

Ah, so you are the reason I had to read through and accept that huge, long Vanguard website disclosure form, so you can then make these awesome videos just for me.

I'm not an American citizen, so I don't have a SSN, then what should I do?
