I have a question. What if I worked in January 2022 and then had became unemployed and collected unemployment from February 2022 until August 2022 and requested that taxes be taken out, and then beginning August 2022 I began to collect disability because of a very serious health issue where I’m in need of a life saving surgery (sorry that was mad extra) to extend my life and I started an S-Corporation in August 2022 and plan on supplementing my income until I can get back to work in the future if I can, what are the taxes I should plan on paying in terms of your breakdown. I’m willing to give you my exact numbers if you’re interested in making a video out of it.

These tax brackets are for year 2023. Has nothing to do with tax year 2022 which will be for the coming tax filing season 1/23/2023 to April 18, 2023?

Oh look; rich people stay rich, and people keep rooting for them

hmmmm the people that make these brackets should um maybe use some common sense…. imagine making 44726 and having to pay 10% more…. for a dollar… that's literally doubling our taxes…. and you made a dollar more and you have to pay 8 k lol good job government…. im glad that the people in charge that continually make everything worse get to continue to make the decisions. lol

    Thx for the summary.

This idiot seriously took 6 minutes to write out tax brackets when a ten second flash of a picture from Google would convey the same exact information?

And he doesn't even make it clear to the viewer that you NEVER make less money by making more money. Only the dollars you make within the 24% tax bracket is taxed at 24%. The first 11k are still taxed at 10% for individuals.

  15. Ed D

Please stop doing is worrying about their fantasy tax brackets.

Seriously you work in some Middle management job… Not getting drafted into the NFL.

Every time a Democrat is President I get a lot less back in taxes, when a Republican is President I get twice as much back. That’s why I vote red, that and because I love my 2nd amendment rights.

  17. Brian Davis

If it were an option I wouldn’t pay a penny in taxes or Social Security. Social Security is flat out socialism.
