I'm not the brightest bulb, however, I did alittle research & took what I could tolerate and purchased at the end of April 2022 to capture the full month & enjoying going into 9.62%.
    Glad I found your videos.

My wife is planning to buy 10K on 7/28/22, then gift me 10K after 1/1/23. Do you think 7/28 is cutting close for her purchase? Need to grab that 11/2022 rate!!

not so silly question, you mentioned iBonds arent taxable if used for educational expenses, would that include paying on existing student loans? Thanks and keep the videos coming!

    I'm down 10% in 401k.
It's now in a stable fund getting. .04%.
Would it make any sense to take a loan for a couple thousand and buy I bonds?

Love your videos. Could you make one about paying taxes on the interest annually or at the end of the bond when you sell? Pros / cons by? Potential costs…if possible.

What happens if I buy in August? Does the interest still calculate in the semi annual rate at that time or will adjust with the new rate after november
    Thanks

I have a joint trust with my wife, I also have one in my name only. Can I buy one for both accounts. I already bought one in our joint account, but since both trusts follow my social security number, I didn’t know if it would be allowed. Both trusts are titled differently though. Thanks!!

Like your Website & DiY help. On MacLaptop login, why only this site forces OTP OnlineTyping Pswd Keyboard for entering Pswd only. How to get rid of that ? LogIn from iPhone possible ? Thanks.

It seems that the charts on the treasury website are inaccurate. The composite rates from 2022 to 1998 were between 9% and 13%?? I don"t think so. The graphs appears to be more accurate and doesn't match the chart. Scary that I would rely on the fed for anything.

Approximately what percentage is taxed when I cash out my I bond?

  13. dozdeshabb

Thank you for posting this video. The last time bank gave me 10% interest was during jimmy carters administration … Why not taking this offer and not worry how long it lasts !

  14. Bejaye

I'm so glad I found your videos! I am interested in buying I-Bonds. Would it still be worth it, if I buy less than $10,000 in I-Bonds? I'm aware my return will be much smaller, but is this only suitable for larger investments?

  15. Becky P

Do you have any info on best IRA gurentee annuity rates

Jennifer, Thank you for all of your videos. One question and I hope you can help. I purchased $10,000 of I bonds in November when the interest rate was 7.12%. Now, 8 months later, my account only shows that I have accumulated $236 of interest. I would expect $356 for the first 6 months alone. Any idea why? I've email Treasury Direct but no response.

  19. A M

If we redeem the I bonds after full 5 years, will we get the interest earned on principle money? Or do we need to wait till it matures after 30 years to get all the interest?
