How inflation is going to be short term. Bunch of people don’t want to work. Feds still are paying them and will keep on paying. Also if you lower your employees hourly rate from $20 an hour to back to $12 he will sue you for sure. I don’t know anyone ever did that. Labor costs are huge in most industries and it’s not going down ever even little. So energy prices were lowest and expected to go up , commodities the same labor price I told , and you believe feds nonsense about transitory inflation? they can increase the rates but it won’t get rid of inflation.
Tips don’t include energy and count inflation for poor people on certain garbage goods. If you were to buy tips can buy directly if you buy TIPS stock and it’s rate goes up when inflation gets higher then others can get much better by buying directly from feds and your TIPS stock will go down in value. Stocks are overvalued now big time.
Thank you for addressing inflation as it relates to investing. You explained it so well, and I wish more advisors touched on this topic. Very helpful!!
Thank you so much Rose
I'm 50 and remember the 1980s well and dimly remember the 1970s. Probably worth looking at TIPS…
A man won 1 million $ on the lotto, he invested it with a broker and lived very comfortably on the interest for 10 years before he died…..at his funeral his wife was heard to say, "Thank God he's gone, with that 1 million in the bank now we can spend some real dough."
Beautiful and Smart!!
Inflation is being coming for last 200 years . Only difference is now how much of an inflation.
Looking good!!
I need a woman like this… im serious lol

Learn to barter. It's a skill that cannot be diminished by inflation and the government.
Because mom and pops businesses are gone and corporations know that the economic slaves got a lot of free $$$. Corporations wants to take that money from slaves and just raise prices ! It’s obvious !
YOUR HAWT UR NOT REAL

To prepare for the upcoming inflation, I reduced positions in dividend paying and pure tech ETFs and bought Financial, Energy, and Metal Mining ETFs.

The current administration will cause hyper inflation in the short term, (Pay to stay at home). Deflation will more than likley kick in by the end of the year.

hopefully you'll use microphone on your clothe next time, to help us hear better
I just shared a personal video on my profile about my family going through hyperinflation in Romania in the 90's. I am planning to release more videos soon. You are approaching it from an academic perspective, and I respect that, you have to analyze things to get a good understanding. But life on the streets was not what you can imagine. Talking about yield curves was not that important when we were digging potatoes out of the dirt by hand because we couldn't afford to buy shovels.
How about general index funds? Will they go down when the interest rate goes up as well?
Thank you, very informative.
Greetings from Denmark.
It's hard to find someone who you agree 100% with.
You should fix the link on your checklist. It's not a secure link.
Good video. The only thing I disagree with is the economy "bounceback" due to lifting of COVID restrictions because I see a lot of businesses working from home now, and not planning to return to lease their places of work. Lots of restaurants, gyms, theaters, etc permanently closed. Those things take years to recover.
Two types of inflation: 1) Expected/Normal inflation 2) Inflation created by Biden.
