Nice video bro. Do you get dividends ?
No changes at this moment?
An updated video please!!!!
I rolled over my old company 401K into a vanguard traditional and Roth IRA before I knew about M1 finance. Would you recommend moving everything there?
Enjoyed your allocations, since you don’t intend to pull funds out of your Roth for quite some time based on your age, the growth emphasis seems ok. You might consider VWIGX (not VWO) for some international exposure of 5-10%. There’s overlap on MGK and VGT, both have been rockets! Hedge a little on those to International.
how do you calculate your percentages with etfs? how did you rebalance with your etfs?
Great Video. I am 55 , which Vanguard funds, will you recommend in a Roth Ira? I want a good night sleep.
What I don't get is why is the expense ratio higher when looking at a Vanguard timed retirement fund than the individual expense ratio of each Vanguard fund that's found in the Vanguard retirement fund.
Interesting?? Much to think about.
What do you think about the VXF etf? This one combine the Small & Middle cap sectors. It has good reviews and it kind if forgotten one. Probably is not oriented to Growth. Good video once again you have made!. Thank You, Joe!
I never hear any good news other than it's not bad for VFIAX. What's the deal? Why do they even use it if VOO is just as good other than auto invest?
Looks like the guy is only invested in US stocks? What if US economy collapses in the future and the real winners will be people invested in World stocks (Europe, Australia, Asia, etc…) ???
I'm 47. what should my asset allocation be? I'm 77% stocks right now. 23% cash. market is high. I'm thinking to reduce stocks to 50% and buy bond funds. Is that the right move?
I’m 26 and I invest 80% VTSAX and 20% VTIAX for my Roth IRA. Will probably not buy bonds until I’m 40-50.
This looks good. I personally would’ve gone with voo or vti for the rps and I would’ve weighted it more in mid-cap than small-cap.
Thanks for all your work Joe
But What about now this video was made before the pandemic but a lot has change now nothing is the same. Do you have and updated video with the recent events in the market.
Would you ever think to add VNQ and BND to this portfolio when you hit 40?
Thanks for this, that equal weighted large cap etf looks good!
when you add more money into your ROTH, do you just keep buying these ETF? at a higher price?
You are missing value stocks, bonds, and non-correlated assets like REITs. When the market cycle changes you are going to be very exposed. Diversifying and rebalancing are important to preserve gains from record long bull growth runs.
1:55 skip the BS…correction 2:39..correction 2:49 jeeze…
Great video
What is your reasoning for not having any bonds and or international equities?
My Roth IRA has a lot of the same holdings as yours! (VBK, MGK, VOT). I'm curious what your thoughts are on REITs (mine is allocated 4%). I'm also wondering what the thought process is behind no international exposure. I know it hasn't been great recently but there are time periods where it is stronger than the U.S. market. Thanks, great videos.
