@The Table With AO, are there any other mortgage lenders that offer conventional loans for people with no credit score? I would like to know undoubtedly that I have the best loan by comparing similar offers (conventional loans with no credit score). It seems that Churchill Mortgage is virtually the only company that offers a conventional loan for people with no score. I have called multiple lenders and they seem to only offer FHA financing for not having a credit score, if anything at all.

Great info. Please would you recommend one getting a condo due to maintenance in terms of fixing the house for primary residence. I would love to know more because I feel condo is a low risk yet affordable compared to being a full homeowner and getting one's finances stretched to its limit.

I was a homeowner. Sold my condo in California and moved to Texas. I ended up in worst financial situation than I was. I went from a 900 mortgage with a roommate covering half to a 2g rental and a roommate not paying so I ended up in deep debt and having to file bankruptcy. I learned you can’t help people. I won’t do it ever again. Still trying to get myself of of the hole. Don’t do what I did.

Ppl sound so stupid saying mortgage cheaper than rent. Rent has no interest, maintenance costs, or taxes. Housing is for baby step 4 or higher aka only 20% of Americans.

i bought my 1st home when i was 22 years old and 14 years later… i'm looking to sell it now. myself and kids have outgrown our home.. house has tripled in value now but i fear its not a good time to buy. this is what i am struggling with currently.

If it's not paid in full then you're not the owner you're a renter/leaser.
Meeting the criteria is not "easy" but doable with no score, it is rare to not have a score if a person pays bills and has paid debt. The rare occasions I have seen 0 or no scores have been people that have had their credit cleaned/wiped. At that point if they have the income and earnings can be tracked they can do creative loans like bank statements. Now no score VA loans are not hard unless the no score is because of horrible credit.
Honest question, if about 13% of the US population is African American, wouldn’t the 38% of homeowners figure actually be encouraging?
this was a good episode but i am not gonna front this made me feel like i am no where near ready to buy a home and my goal was suppose to be next year.. and my rent just went up 300 … now 2100 ….. attempting to stay motivated…. let me go sell everything in my apt esp lookin at these houses in Maryland

I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! If you want to do it the Dave Ramsey way you need a household of income $80K which most Americans don't make by themselves. So you would need to be married or help for average person to get a home.

Am continuing to add to my portfolio. As warren Buffett said "be brave when everyone else is fearful". The stock market always recover, so hold for long term and have the stomach for the ride.

At what point do you not need life insurance? Married and are 60+. 2 kids out of the house and on their own. No home loan on the primary residence, but there are loans on several positive cash-flowing rental properties.
