I’ll show you how to buy Vanguard ETFs and Index Funds to get you started on your passive investing journey. We’ll also discuss the difference between a Roth IRA and a traditional IRA, as well as the power of compound interest. This is a beginner-friendly guide that will take you from start to finish.
I am a huge fan of Vanguard ETFs index funds and I have been investing with them 10 years now and I highly recommend the brokerage to start investing. Vanguard has some of the best ETFs available and charges extremely low fees.
Stock prices are at record highs so please be prudent. Short term investing is always more dangerous, and it is entirely possible that prices fall in the short term. I believe this ETF, VOO will perform well long term and give strong gains.

So if I put in 5000 will I get more etf now than 6 months ago? What do I get? Units?
Bruhhhhh this really helped me out a lot. Keep it up. Bless up
Thank you for sharing the information. It took me a while to find your video and this helped so much
Can you make a video about brokerage accounts vs iras??
Thanks so much!
Great video thanks! The compound example, would that be for the mutual index fund VFIAX where you can set it to auto deposit $7k each year so that it compounds the principle with the additional funds versus buying the VOO etf that does not allow auto deposit, meaning each order you buy $10k, $7k it just compounds from that separate order? Hope that makes sense.
Excellent video, it was very helpful to me to see the step-by-step process of purchasing an ETF share.
I just bought 1 share after watching your video, so what happens next? I am still confused. thank yo if you will reply.

I found this video to be very helpful. Thank you!
So do you have to select a stock to buy each time you add money to the account? Or can you just select which ETFs you want to invest in and Vanguard just buys them for you? What if you don’t have enough money to buy 1 full share?
Thank you! This shirt is so confusing.
How do you know how many shares you need to buy though since you have $6000 to use for the year so how do you know the amount of shares you should buy?
This has been precious, simple, clear and a gold mine. Thanks sir.
