There’s a couple different options for you. You can put the money into an annuity fund, we’re gonna guarantee you a certain, income over the years. You can also roll it over to some kind of IRA outside of the thrift savings plan. If you want to take a hands off approach. Now, if you want to take more control of your financial future, what you could do, you could move that, thrift savings plan over to what’s known as a self directed IRA.

Self-Directed Individual retirement account or I R A are retirement accounts that gives the owner control of the allocations of fund and can be use to invest into alternative investment outside of a stock market.

Choose, a traditional I R A and pay your taxes later or choose a Roth I R A and pay no taxes later.

What that does for a retired veteran is this gives them full control of their retirement fund so they can use this money to invest in gold, they can invest in, different asset class outside of the stock market.

But our most favorite one is invest in Real Estate because what real estate does for you, it gives you an opportunity to create passive income. But if you want to continue, a more predictable way of saving for your retirement, Investing in a Multi Family Real Estate is one of our preferred options.

So got a couple options, but it’s important that you take control of your retirement funds after you retire from the military.

MESSAGE TO RETIRED VETERANS

To all retired veterans, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your service and sacrifices to our country. As we approach Veterans Day, it is important to recognize and honor the men and women who have served in the armed forces and have retired from their military service.

Your dedication and bravery have helped to protect our nation and preserve our freedoms. Your service will never be forgotten, and we are forever grateful for the sacrifices you have made for our country.

Many retired veterans face unique challenges as they transition into civilian life. After spending years in the military, it can be difficult to adjust to a new routine and find a sense of purpose outside of the armed forces. It is important for our society to support and uplift our retired veterans as they navigate this new chapter of their lives.

If you are a retired veteran, we want you to know that you are not alone. There are numerous resources available to assist you in finding employment, accessing healthcare, and receiving support for any mental health issues you may be facing. Organizations such as the Veterans Administration and various non-profits are dedicated to helping retired veterans navigate the challenges of civilian life.

Furthermore, we encourage our society to show appreciation and support for retired veterans. Whether it is through volunteering at veteran organizations, donating to veteran charities, or simply saying “thank you” when you see a veteran, it is important to recognize and honor their service. A small gesture of kindness can go a long way in showing our retired veterans that their sacrifices are appreciated.
