A USD play?

A USD play?

Not the traditional type of plays around here, but what do you guys think about USD going up and foreign currencies falling?

I just read an interesting dd from 1 of the gme
subredit about usd as a reserve currency.

Should people be holding onto usd or converting to usd?

Could there be a sort of short squeeze on the USD, as everyone is trying to pile in, trying to run from collapsing currencies?

Or is this overblown and the usd will collapse too

Lololol

If the world keeps falling apart and US keeps raising interest rates the USD will keep increasing in value

There is a real risk Putin nukes Ukraine. The reason why Euro billionaires are getting US Dollars.

About to go down, China just announced they were gonna offload a bunch of US dollars and buy up a lot of yuan.

Or maybe we will just continue printing and it will continue shooting up

Maybe we should change the nome of the other currencies to British Pesos and European Pesos

You might be about 2 years too late. Might keep going for a while but there must be some reversal at some point.

Really the smart play is putting your money into the Canadian dollar which is reaching close to all time lows against the dollar and is far better situated to weather the storm coming than say the Euro or Pound sterling

The USD will normalize at some point and decline. When? Who knows. It is being propped up by bonds currently. Should you play USD? I wouldn’t. Too much volatility.

FYI, and “DD” from any meme stock sub should be avoided.

I would hedge my money on USD collapsing, were printing money like it’s going out of style.

USA was the first to raise the interest rates. Europe has had negative rates for some time i read. It’s all priced in don’t worry. Some smart dude calculated all of this back in the 80s and leaders made it happen accordingly.

Just hold your money in dollars. That’s all
