Gas and Diesel both come out of refining oil.. there is some recipe changes that can slightly favor one or the other. If they run out of or shut off Diesel, there is No Gas, Jet Fuel, Kerosene. Diesel is the big money maker.. the lowest distillate for the most money. Diesel here is still 5.25/gal in maryland. If we were going to run out, it will hit 10/15/20 dollars a gallon as it does. how about getting someone familiar with Refineries to speak to this "Shortage". IMO all Fake News.
