As the month of April comes to an end, I am once again taking a look at what is inside my small $36,000 tax-free Roth IRA. This investment account has been a key part of my retirement savings strategy, allowing me to grow my money without having to pay taxes on any investment gains.

At the moment, my Roth IRA is made up of a mix of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. I have diversified my investments to spread risk and capture different opportunities in the market. Over the past few months, I have made a few adjustments to my portfolio, shifting some of my assets around to take advantage of changing market conditions.

One of the key holdings in my Roth IRA is a selection of growth stocks. These are companies that have shown strong performance and are expected to continue growing at a rapid pace. Some of the growth stocks in my portfolio include tech companies like Apple, Amazon, and Tesla. I have also invested in some high-growth healthcare and consumer goods companies to balance out my holdings.

In addition to growth stocks, I also have a portion of my Roth IRA invested in bonds. Bonds provide a fixed income stream and help to cushion my portfolio against market volatility. I have chosen a mix of government bonds, corporate bonds, and municipal bonds to diversify my fixed income holdings.

Finally, I have allocated a portion of my Roth IRA to mutual funds. These funds allow me to invest in a diversified portfolio managed by professional fund managers. I have chosen a mix of stock funds, bond funds, and balanced funds to further diversify my investments.

Overall, I am pleased with the performance of my Roth IRA so far. Despite some market fluctuations, my portfolio has continued to grow steadily over time. I am confident that my diversified holdings will help me reach my retirement goals and provide me with a comfortable nest egg in the future.

In conclusion, my small $36,000 tax-free Roth IRA is a valuable asset that will help me secure my financial future. By investing in a mix of growth stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, I am able to grow my money and protect against market risk. I look forward to seeing how my portfolio continues to perform in the coming months and years.

I’m doing the same thing in my Roth IRA with high yield dividend stocks. This is climbing fast! Once I reach the max $7500 for the year, I then purchase the same stocks in my tax account portfolio . I’m surprised you don’t have CONY or ULTY?
