Everyone gets angry from time to time, but when it gets so bad that it starts negatively impacting your marriage, it’s time to take action.

You can learn how to manage anger in your marriage before it destroys your relationship. But how can you be effective at managing anger if you don’t even know what causes it?

Anger and resentment are very destructive to a marriage. It doesn’t matter whether you are always angry at your husband or wife, or your spouse is the one angry at you. The cause of anger is always the same.

Understanding that cause will allow you to not just manage anger and resentment, but completely eliminate it from your marriage.

Though our principles are focused on marriage, this instruction on anger management can be useful for every aspect of your life.

This video describes the cause of anger. The key to unraveling its source is found in the relationship between the body, mind, and soul.

Part two discusses what you can do about your anger, and how to deal with an angry spouse. Watch it here:

    3. Making unconditional love and ever-expanding happiness your primary and constant missions.

The spiritual aspect of being a Soul makes perfect sense, it is so beautiful. Why won't God allow for me as a soul to just control my mind and connect to my heart, and feelings of love? I want to overcome the drive to survive, but it ain't working.

My husband gets very angry when he is overtired. He has angry outbursts at me. Very abusive. Then I freeze up and can't function. That makes him more angry. I tell him what's happening to me and he doesn't seem to have access to his stuff, what is going on with him. So I am in flight response and I white knuckle through. Then his anger subsides eventually and to him, it seems, nothing happened.
But with me, I have the residual effect and it turns into resentment and hatred for him. I do not like him and I want to avoid this person. I even hate him.
I dont want to live like this. Its been going on for years and it's getting worse.
