"Race to the bottom"….That's how it feels to me when i look around at humans.
How fast do we get to our destination means nothing if the destination is at the bottom.

That’s incorrect, CRT teaches the truth about what actually happened on Turtle Island and how to address it in an appropriate manner, America is due Reparations from you know who (hence why they are doing their hardest to scratch CRT) Whether they block it or not is irrelevant people will be informed of the truth wether those that want to hide the truth like it or not, this is a great way to have the discussion and the solution because in order to fix America it must be spoken about and addressed. America will stay as it is or get worst of the Doctrine of Discovery/Theodosian Doctrine and everything that happened there after isn’t addressed.
It challenges whether or not America upholds it's own values. There are many arguable things in that book, but at least read it

Standardized testing and the "sit down" school system is geared toward girls and women and heavily favors them.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. There is no such declarations in critical race theory. The only "theory" that wants to "do away" with certain American things is conservative conspiracy theory, e.g. banning books and claiming a free and fair election was rigged.

She can't give ONE example of how CRT challenges merit, equality and hard work? She can't quote a single critical race theorist who espouses the aforementioned ideals? It seems to me like she made a lot of claims with nothing to back it up.
meritocracy doesnt always work. i have always wanted to learn German, French and Russian. let me tell you i worked super hard. hours of my personal time, books upon books, classes, immersing myself in movies in those languages, i even tried the rosetta stone, tried everything for 5 years. i was not good at it i struggle so much with it. no matter how hard i worked at it im still sht.
so no, no. i will never even be near fluent. or even half fluent. HOWEVER, at that point you must accept that as disappointing as it is, perhaps its just something youre not good at, and youll probably be good at something else, and find success in something else where you apply yourself. but you know how you wont find success? sitting there blaming everyone else, feeling sorry for yourself and victimizing yourself.

That is not true. When they say criticism it is not meant in the way of common speech but in the academic sense of critique which means quantifying its elements,pro and con. The challenge comes in when they look at whether these "foundations of liberal order" were applied equally across the spectrum. In other words, they say that you can live anywhere you want,the only barrier being good old capitalist economics,but then you find that the city council has red-lined certain neighborhoods because black people live there. This is just one example that everyone knows happened. The people who mischaracterize CRT are betting on the people who won't think for themselves and just react on buzzwords designed to elicit an unthinking reaction. Fortunately, I believe there are enough well meaning reasonable people in the US who can delay the gratification of a knee-jerk reaction long enough to find out for themselves what CRT really says. Are you one of these people?

Well said. It is becoming a race to the bottom in English universitys too, thanks to CRT. And diversity quota's instead of hard work paying off for any promotion at work. The best person for that job should get the job. Not the current favoured diversity.
This is only a topic because people in this country have become weak and lazy. Its just to hard to try anymore. Everyone just want handouts.
