“Bank Bailouts Reach .3 Trillion Mark – Were You in Support?” (By Bix Weir)

In 2008 the Banks were required to come before the US Congress for a bailout of $700T…and that vote almost failed! The Fed has now tallied up a $3.3B bank bailout since 9/11/2019 and yet NOBODY SAYS A WORD! Heads THEY win…tails WE LOSE!!

Bank Bailouts Hit $3.3 Trillion…Did YOU Approve It?!

In the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, the United States saw one of the largest bank bailouts in history. The Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) was implemented to rescue failing banks and stabilize the economy. However, the total cost of these bailouts has now reached a staggering $3.3 trillion, leaving many questioning the decision-making process behind it.

Critics argue that the massive bailouts created a moral hazard, as banks that engaged in risky behavior were effectively rewarded for their actions. Instead of facing the consequences of their poor decisions, these institutions received taxpayer money to stay afloat. This raised concerns about accountability and the overall integrity of the financial system.

One proponent of this viewpoint is Bix Weir, a prominent economist and author who has been vocal about his opposition to bank bailouts. Weir argues that the bailout money could have been better used to help struggling homeowners and consumers who were also impacted by the crisis. He believes that this could have led to a more equitable recovery that focused on Main Street rather than Wall Street.

Weir also criticizes the lack of transparency surrounding the decision-making process for the bailout funds. Many argue that the allocation of funds was often done without proper oversight, leading to potential misuse or favoritism. Weir calls for greater accountability and public involvement in such critical financial decisions, pointing out that ultimately, it was the taxpayers who footed the bill.

Another concern highlighted by Weir is the long-term impact of these bailouts on the economy. The injections of massive amounts of money into the banking system can have unintended consequences such as inflation and devaluation of the currency. These effects may not be immediately visible but can have long-term negative repercussions on the economy as a whole.

However, it is important to note that proponents of the bank bailouts argue that they were necessary to prevent a complete collapse of the financial system. They maintain that the bailout funds helped stabilize the markets and prevent severe economic downturn. They argue that without the intervention, the consequences would have been far worse, affecting not only the banks but also the larger economy and individual citizens.

Ultimately, the bank bailouts and their tremendous cost raise important questions about the role of government in times of financial crises. While some argue that government intervention is necessary to protect the economy, others question the ethics and fairness of bailing out private institutions with taxpayer money.

The debate over bank bailouts is far from settled, and it serves as a reminder of the need for continued scrutiny and accountability in the financial sector. Whether one agrees or disagrees with the decisions made during the 2008 crisis, it is clear that the impact of these bailouts is deeply felt, both financially and politically. As we move forward, it is essential to learn from these lessons and work towards a more robust and equitable financial system that can withstand future shocks without asking taxpayers to shoulder such an immense burden.

For the Born Again Christian, this life is the worst it's ever going to get and once we die then we truly live as joint heirs with Jesus our King.
For the non christian, well it's not good, you better live life to it's fullest extent because once you die, the absolute worst possible eternal status is waiting for you. So, you have three options. 1. Don't die. 2. Reject Jesus as your savior. Or 3. Accept Him as your savior.
My opinion is of no value, you can decide for yourself if you take the Bible off the shelf and read it.
    What will YOU! believe?

"Bank Bailouts Hit $3.3 Trillion…Did YOU Approve It?" No, Bix, because there IS no democracy. It's purely theoretical. There never was a democratic country on Earth. Even in ancient Greece, the vast majority of People were slaves. But, unlike Us, they knew they were slaves. Democracy is the great lie to make Us complacent in the false belief that We have some influence over Our affairs ~ to make us think We are NOT SLAVES. We NEED democracy now more than ever ~ Our own system to define Our true will regarding everything that affects Us. I've tried and failed since 1972.

I have a small private company pension but I agree with you. The state pension benefits are much larger than what I would ever go. It's not right that people who make a low income are forced to pay taxes that support pensions. It's another transfer of money from poor to richer. I'm tired of paying for other peoples' bad investments.

There is no such thing as a "New Constitution!" We were given the best there was and the authoritarians chewed it up and spit it out! Free markets, Free to do whatever you want as long as you do not harm someone or their property. 50 Independent states. No such thing as TAXES!
    Yes we can!

The Creator has everything under control. Even if this is an engineered virus, it still gets destroyed just like any other virus. If Trump shuts down the Fed and opens the Treasury and the FDA comes out with approval of Hydroxychloroquine then this cloud will dissipate. The one thing about these videos that bothers me is how everyone here is already convinced that this virus will continue to shape life for years to come, yet the flu never did that!!! This virus is going to be with us no differently than the common flu, which has been around for years on end. Nobody is immune to auto accidents but that doesn't stop people from going out ad getting in their cars and traveling around. Its all brainwashed BS. This whole virus is a bunch of extorted bullshit. I for one will not buy into the whole doom and gloom "there's no way out" mindset. People need to start growing their own gardens and learning to live without money for everything they want. Laziness will be the people's downfall before this virus. Laziness to accept these politicians at their word. The people who first came here didn't have banks and stores to go get the things they needed, they made what they needed themselves and traded for the rest. I find it amusing when people talk about $600/oz silver because that is pending on the same traded fiat currency still being in effect when these price adjustments occur. I am certain it will be a crashing of the Fed and re-instituting the Treasury and going back to a Treasury Note backed by silver and gold and THAT will force a Revaluation and this "GCR" (global currency reset) event, because when it happens here, it will happen everywhere in every country. The derivative markets will be abandoned and the SWIFT system will be destroyed forever.
I do agree 100% with the idea that those who are responsible for the failed choices that brought this on to have their wealth confiscated on the principle that they willing abdicated their duties to deliberately set up the environment for this to happen, because it took multiple factors and bad choices on multiple fronts to bring things to this point in its whole complete effect, being that it is on every front and in every aspect of the system. All I know is after this life is over and everything is truly revealed to us, we will get why we were never going to get it right and why we need the Creator Himself to step in and show us how its done, aka "The Kingdom" to come, which is already "at hand", for those who have eyes to see. But if people do not have a true grasp of creation and the science that proves this, they will never get what is really going on and continue to think they are the ones who have to fix the problem, which is a form of faithlessness. Trusting in yourself is a guaranteed failure in the making.
