I’m Chris, a DEBT FREE Millennial, a 2 Time Best-Selling Author and I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 10 years. Over time, I have built a mini-empire in which I Coach-Consult-Speak-and-Write Books. I also work with Brands and Businesses on special projects. I founded a nonprofit, Grand CITY Sports, Inc. in 2008 where I work with promising youth, returning citizens and detention youth. Here on YouTube however, I teach entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs how to invest in the stock market, build a successful business, monetize their personal brand and become debt free. This channel takes you through my journey of how I invest and build wealth as well as how I build my business from the ground up, while sharing information on hardships, how I achieve success, build wealth, save and invest. I share all of this in hopes that it helps you in some way.

EACH WEEK, the Deeper Than Sports series highlights questions from my subscribers related to investing or business and stocks I purchase throughout the week #dividend #stock with the #robinhood app. My goal is to generate more passive income through purchasing shares of high quality dividend paying companies.

Dividends are some of the most powerful tools for building passive and retirement income. Dividends are the life blood of executives, the wealthy and powerful which is why income on them is TAX FREE up to $38,600 (or $77,200 when filing jointly)!

It’s not that difficult to get started building your very own portfolio that pays you money to sleep. Follow my journey and let’s create some wealth!

A Roth IRA is one of the most popular retirement accounts available, and for good reason. The Roth IRA offers tax-free growth and tax-free withdrawals in retirement. This makes it a great choice for those who want to save for retirement without having to worry about the tax implications of their investments.

But with so many Roth IRA options available, it can be difficult to decide which one is best for you. To help you make the right decision, we’ve put together a list of the best Roth IRA’s and the must-have stocks you should include in your portfolio.

First and foremost, you should consider a Roth IRA from a reputable financial institution. Look for a company that offers low fees, a wide range of investment options, and excellent customer service. Many of the top financial institutions offer Roth IRA accounts, so you should have no trouble finding one that meets your needs.

Once you’ve chosen a Roth IRA, you’ll need to decide which stocks to include in your portfolio. Here are some of the must-have stocks you should consider:

• Large-cap stocks: Large-cap stocks are stocks of companies with a market capitalization of $10 billion or more. These stocks tend to be less volatile than smaller stocks and can provide stability to your portfolio. Examples of large-cap stocks include Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon.

• Mid-cap stocks: Mid-cap stocks are stocks of companies with a market capitalization between $2 billion and $10 billion. These stocks can offer higher returns than large-cap stocks, but they can also be more volatile. Examples of mid-cap stocks include Visa, Mastercard, and McDonald’s.

• Small-cap stocks: Small-cap stocks are stocks of companies with a market capitalization of less than $2 billion. These stocks tend to be more volatile than large- and mid-cap stocks, but they can offer higher returns. Examples of small-cap stocks include Twitter, Snap, and GoPro.

In addition to these stocks, you should also consider adding a mix of international stocks and bonds to your portfolio. This will help you diversify your investments and reduce your risk.

Finally, it’s important to remember that the best Roth IRA is the one that meets your needs. Make sure to do your research and choose a Roth IRA that offers the features you need and the investments you want. With the right Roth IRA, you can ensure that you’re well-prepared for retirement.

The stock market is still a fantastic tool for building wealth, however, so it's wise to consider investing even if you don't have much money to spare

I've already got my 401K and IRA down, and I would like to hold on to individual stocks that will 5x in a few years, I've seen investors make over $500k in one year and I'd very much like to retire with atleast $2million. Any advise guys?

I have one with STASH, building towards my 6k limit. Have you ever heard of a SDIRA (self directed IRA)?

All that money you make, you can still contribute to your Roth IRA?

  7. Lorditill

I already have a roth set up, can you have more than one and if so could those ever exceed the $6k collectively? Or is $6k the max regardless?

Are there any brokers that allow you to invest your Roth on your own? I.e. put your money in the plays you want it in?! Versus letting the broker control?

How you feel about Primerica / invesco?

First investment portfolio Roth IRA Fidelity all the way! Maxed the 6K contributions for the year! Excited to hear what stocks do you like on a Roth

  13. chuma onwuka

Hi Chris I set up a Roth last year and contributed the max to my Roth, looking to contribute again this year but my tax account says I don't qualify to make the contribution ….I don't have an employee benefit program so I am a bit surprised

  14. STOCKMUSCLE

Do you guys know the benefit of a Roth??? A Roth IRA is a pretax investment account, your money is taxed going in, therefore upon withdrawal it is untaxed…..Chris you gotta break the IRA down. There is no difference from a Vanguard IRA account and a Fidelity IRA, they are exactly the same. The 401k is king!!! It’s free money from your company, max it out if you can afford to. A Roth is great, but the 401 is king.
