President Joe Biden spoke on July 28 about the newly struck deal between Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) that would invest $369 billion over the next 10 years into climate actions such as renewable energy and tax rebates for new and used electric vehicles.
Biden called the deal, known as the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, ‘the most significant legislation in history to tackle the climate crisis.’

Biden Breaks Down Inflation Reduction Act Climate Investments
President Biden recently outlined his plans for climate investments as part of the Inflation Reduction Act, marking a significant step in the administration’s efforts to combat climate change. In a press conference, he detailed the provisions of the Act that will allocate funds for renewable energy, clean transportation, and sustainable infrastructure.
The climate investments outlined by President Biden include a $555 billion allocation for clean energy and transportation infrastructure, as well as a $90 billion investment in public transportation systems. Additionally, the Act will provide $14 billion for a new “Climate Smart Cities” initiative that aims to improve urban infrastructure and reduce emissions.
The Inflation Reduction Act also includes a $550 billion budget for research and development in clean energy, including investments in solar, wind, and other renewable technologies. This significant funding will support the development and deployment of new clean energy solutions, aiming to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Furthermore, the Act includes provisions for a $150 billion investment in climate resilience and disaster preparedness, aiming to mitigate the impacts of extreme weather events and protect communities from the effects of climate change. This funding will support infrastructure projects and natural resource management efforts that aim to build resilience in the face of a changing climate.
President Biden emphasized the urgency of these investments, highlighting the need to address the climate crisis and create a more sustainable future. He stressed that the Inflation Reduction Act represents a critical opportunity to make meaningful progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to a clean energy economy.
The climate investments outlined in the Inflation Reduction Act have been met with both support and criticism. Proponents of the Act argue that the funding will drive innovation, create jobs, and protect communities from the impacts of climate change. Critics, on the other hand, question the cost and potential economic impacts of such significant investments.
Overall, President Biden’s climate investments as part of the Inflation Reduction Act mark a significant commitment to addressing the climate crisis and transitioning to a more sustainable future. The Act reflects the administration’s recognition of the urgency of climate action, and its potential to drive positive change in the fight against climate change.
Incentive for people to learn how to budget and know where they could save money? Man i guess a company like Amazon shouldn't exist then since the human is incapable of saving money using their own brain. You must buy THIS THING WE PAY YOU TO BUY, THEN YOU SAVE. It's a wonder why it doesn't sell like hot cakes on it's own in the Free Market.
Gas was $2.35 and inflation was under 2% when you took office.

The. Only. Solution. Is. Nuclear. Energy.
Hypocrite. He's stopping oil production and pipelines in the US only to provide funding for other countries to open new pipelines and oil and then have the US buy it. Biden got the US off of being energy independent and is forcing us to buy oil from other countries who do not follow the same standards and has to ship it across the ocean to us. An average of 40% dirtier oil than if it was home grown. Plus, all electric car tax breaks do is award the rich. No poor person can afford a tesla even with the tax breaks. That's the thing about democrat voters, they never look past the headline.
When has Brandon ever told the truth! Just another money grab
