TAX is illegal and it is not collected for any Government that includes the IRS and IRD. The money is taken from people as part of a CHATEL/SUNDRIE for an OFFENDER and it all goes into his Bank Account. The purpose is to deny people money to spend. TAX of all types is illegal. I am the Arkangel Daniel and I am from Heaven.

All taxes are to be uniform and equal, read your constitution. If you make a dollar the tax is 10 %, if you make 1 million, the tax is 10%, do you understand ? Simple yes, uniform and equal, you can thank the founding fathers for that, read your constitution, its the supreme law of the land, not Title 26, which is not a law to begin with. Now read the constitution to see if a tax on wages is progressive or uniform and equal, do you understand, let me explain, progressive taxes mean the more you make the higher the tax, meaning different tax brackets, simple to understand yes? unequal and oppressive. Ok, you did your homework, what do you find, progressive or uniform and equal. I will make it simple for you. Art. none, section none, clause none, there is no tax on wages, so why do you pay a tax to work, when our government doesn't tax We the People on our wages, you can thank the founding fathers. When you sign a W4, you sign a contract to work for the US government, unequal and oppressive, hard workers pay to supplement the less fortunate. Don't sign a W4 and you keep all your money.

  27. Pensez A Moi

Sitting here wondering who and why anyone is interfacing with the IRS? I ceased to participate as a victim of their fraudulent authority since 2017. Now, and I've contacted them, I maintain a legal contract with the US government preventing any more payments. In fact the US Now owes $66M and growing to me, collectable via tax credits through a 1040X.

The problem is that the CPI excludes housing/rent, energy and food so inflation doesn't look so bad. Housing/rent used to be included in the CPI but was removed. Which doesn't make sense because the CPI is used for lending rates and other things.

Let's focus on food and energy. Experts and economists will say that these two items are volatile commodities with large swings, due to weather or world events, but that is somewhat misleading. So what is the justification for food price volatility? In the US that would apply to fresh produce, fish, eggs and dairy. The majority of poor and middle class generally consume more prepared and processed food which are more stable in price. They do so because less of us go to the market or have gardens. Even those of us that garden or have access to a farmer's market don't have enough to sustain our families all year due to busy lifestyles and work hours. So we eat out or buy canned or processed food from supermarkets.

In regards to energy. I do agree that an international event or disaster could cause spikes in oil and energy prices, but we can balance out those spikes data in the long term with a 10-20 year moving average so it could be a component. Some would argue that energy prices are a pass through cost, but energy to light and heat our homes and fuel our vehicles is not and should play a factor in the cost of living.

So the cost of meals and energy should also be factored into standard deductions and the brackets even if it were prorated not just the current CPI. And why they removed housing/rent from CPI is beyond my knowledge since that is almost always the highest budget item for the poor, middle class and some retirees (who rent or still have a mortgage). So is 8.1% inflation correct or is it really somewhere around the 10-13% range? I don't know. Sorry for the long winded comment.

  40. ginger breed man

At 15 percent inflation, the standard deduction should be 20000. Single people have to eat too, and stay warm.

These tax changes will hurt the average person.
