This should be a 4 minute update, not 16 minutes….the rest comes through as noise!

  2. RayNLA

Tesla isn’t working on a “totally new” model Y or 3. It’s a simple refresh!

  3. Elijah M

Thanks a lot, great content. Little question: Are your ancestors german?

Also, $20k MS Track Mode upgrade. The only change that Big Oil controlled WS & Corporate Media actually embraced.

    Tesla is pathetic car

  6. Hayden

All speculation here no facts once again

It's like buying a new phone. Is your current vehicle in dire straights or at the end of life or lease up, just buy/lease a new one. Are you fine waiting another year or two for a new one because your current vehicle is fine. Wait. If you have to have all the latest and greatest you already know what you're going to do. Buy now and trade up for the next one as soon as you can anyways.

  8. Stupid Idiot

How can you release so many videos while also providing NO NEW INFORMATION?

  9. nanookpictures

when will they start shipping the new model 3s to Europe? Q3? Any more detailed
    updates?

  10. h b

Bought a 3P 2 months ago knowing a new model on the way. I bargained hard and got a great price. This will minimise the delta when I sell it by end of year to upgrade to the new one.

  11. David Miranda

Do you know by when exactly Tesla will unveil the new model 3?

Tesla leasing is so weird. Was car shopping the past week or so. Got approved for vehicles much more expensive than the myp. Decided I want a myp lease so I apply with a 800+ credit score, no debt on credit but get denied for a 54k car? Yet couple days ago I applied for a 2023 Jeep grand Cherokee summit with a msrp of 72k and got approved on the spot with no proof of income just sign and drive. Anybody else have that kind of issue with Tesla?

options for the patient: make more money. buy a model s. wait a long time. save up even more money. buy a roadster / cybertruck.

  14. Superman

It's a little more than a couple of months away. The new Model 3 isn't slated to go into production until sometime in October of 2023. That's 5 months from now.

About the removal of the stocks, it was already confirmed in an interview with a Tesla engineer that it isn't going to happen on the 3 and Y.

  15. Superman

Give me a gauge cluster and ventilated seats and I'll be happy.

  16. Omar Youssef

I'm indeed struggling with this right now and I'm afraid they would jack-up prices. Although, the aim behind the Model 3 is to make it a car that is affordable for the masses… So it's only logical that they keep slashing prices. On the other end, I wouldn't put it past them to hike prices for the new model 3 or even release both side by side with the old look being reserved to the RWD base model and the new design for the higher trims like the Performance for example (which would be a bummer).

  17. diego loya

    GET TO THE POINT!!!

  18. cal88usa

I was thinking of waiting, I pull the trigger and bought a model 3 SR. I was coming from a 2011 Nissan versa. I won’t go back to a gas car ever again.

  19. Joe Berge

Just received my new Tesla Y Performance. My first venture into the EV world. Love the car. The way it drives, and all the interesting tech it offers. I am 74 years old. For today this is more than enough car for me to drive, and technology to understand. It's fun to drive feeling the quick response of the accelerator, and fun to learn to technology offered in this car. My current plan is not to chase the ever-changing technology, but give this car about 5 yrs. of time, then let's see what the EV world is offering then. Having fun!!!

  20. Kaby Summit

2:02 I'm waiting for the new exterior. More attractive, distinctive and akin to the model S. It's just a few months away.
I'm not worried about the fit and finish. You don't have to accept the copy at delivery if it's bad.
8:55 hardware upgrades. These are worth it for the long haul.

  21. Alexandre Vinicius

Waiting on my MYP that is to be delivered this month. Can't wait.

  22. Brandon Lee

I’m just hoping for a gauge cluster. Regardless as soon as the refreshed 3 performance is released I’ll be purchasing

  23. Colin Miller

Still wouldn’t pay more than $25k for this piece of $hit!!!

  24. rickypickles

I worked with computers for 50 years. There is ALWAYS a newer and better one coming soon. This is how tech is. If you want a Tesla, buy one. This is not something you keep forever.

  25. Ben

New model Y most likely will be available at least in 2025
In addition, it takes at least two years to figure out all the faults that are pop up in a new model

  26. frecklesx20

    Hopefully they fix phantom braking!!!!!!!!

  27. dave b

My current choice is buy a used 2022 or wait for something with radar/sensors. Aka do not buy the vision only version. The big question is, when will the new hardware be in the model y

  28. Richard Marcus

I'm concerned about removing the stalks a putting more controls on the steering wheel. That will make these controls a moving target as the steering wheel is turned. That may make you take your eyes off the road as you try to identify the control you are looking for.

  29. Miguel Silva

I have been very stressed about this decision in the past week but just decided to jump in because I have always wanted to have a Tesla but untill now it has always been outside my allowance budget. I really like the smooth design from Teslas specially the front of Model 3 (I don't understand why all other brands keep putting fake front grills, how stupid and ugly is the new grill on the BMW 220e), anyway I don't think the front on newer model 3 is smoother, actually it looks less complex to manufacture and has some more edge lines than current model 3, (Again I really don't like to see the hard edgy lines design of some Japanese cars). I'm sure I will miss the high resolution cameras of hardware v4, that alone should be able to make for the lack of ultrasonic sensors, or phantom breaks… hopefully they can still improve these functions on hardware v3 just with software updates. But I have a feeling that if I don't jump in now, I will have to go for a non Tesla vehicle because the future model 3 will be more expensive and start slowly the mass production for the first couple of years. I would definitely go for a Model 2 if it was available and based on hardware v4, but I suppose that should also be a couple of years away (at least with a stable production). And to finish my thoughts I think the future model 3 with more capable hardware v4 might have some more extra services or software options that will increase the car's price (even though car could be cheaper to produce) maybe even some more base options that are now being included on the current model 3 like auto-pilot. I also hope whey will allow Android Auto and Car play to run naively on all Teslas as older hardware will benefit more from running some apps on a more recent phone, like Waze and that should be more noticeable in a few years that phones will keep improving and car keeps getting heavier software to run…

  30. jajacobs2

Go for the sure thing – buy now.

  31. Gregg K6EGG

wish they would get better paint

  32. Longsnowsm

I'm just gonna say NO to the short range LR. And where is that RWD LR, a real long range 360+ miles car?

I don't see any benefit to hurry unless you don't like the way the refresh looks. The one leaked pic wasn't very good looking to me. The artist rendering stuff is all guesswork.

I hope they will reveal the car before the launch so we can decide if we want the current M3 or the refreshed version. Stripping out more controls and features is a very big concern. The current cars already have a bunch of problems because of removing stuff. Some of them quite dangerous problems like the phantom braking. This is very concerning…

I hope they fix some of the problems with the additional cameras, but the threat they make things even worse is very real. I am torn. I hope they will start to reveal some details soon.

  33. Thomas Mathew

There is no such thing as future-proofing in tech.

  34. Google User

quality still bad. p off. no improvement. made in usa

  35. Stephen Bailie

What is the black model in the first few seconds of the video is it a concept?

  36. Dennis P

new model will cost more my bet, and longgggg wait times.
