    Powell’s objective is to crash the stock market and keep it low for a long duration. That’s his way to kill the demand side which he hope will tame the supply side. It isn’t going to work for him if the stock market bounced right back up 10 to 15% in a month or two.

    So these economic statistics need to be remain low for at least a few months.
