A lot of the guys shoot SK Rifle Match very well in their CZ also. I wouldn't shoot bulk ammo through that barrel. I'd stay with the wax lubricated ammos.

Your barrel is cheating to the left because you are laying it on its side when you are torquing the action screws. My 457 MTR did the same thing. hold the barrel centered when you torque the screws and it will stay there. Just a little tip. Love your videos. You are the reason i bought mine.

I was thinking about getting into precision 22 shooting having done some 3-gun. But I’m wondering, what shooting skill does it demand when you are shooting off an adjustable rest and table. Isn’t that type of shooting more about the accuracy of the rifle and ammunition. Besides of course knowing how to make calculations to account for wind. Just curious ……not criticizing.

Great groups Buffalo! One thing I like about your MTR over my 457 WMR varmint is the thickness of the forestock where it cradles the barrel. The varmint gets pretty skinny in this region.
Big fan Buffalo but curious about the hole the first round made in the target. Looked like the bullet might have been tumbling?

I almost got this beauty for 400€ second hand when I heard old timers complain at the range that he got rid off his MTR because it wasn’t better than a old Annie 54 super match.
But I do like the wood stock and grip. Hm, hesitated too long and the MTR has a new owner. Stupid me.
The SK standard + and SK Magazine is great af ammo. RWS rifle match ( and with red S) and the similar Geco Rifle will perform similar.
1 idea: as you are single shot loading, could you use the CZ single shot adapter ( as I use in my CZ452) ?
1 reply asked about your single shot loading. Yes it makes a difference. We made a trial at the range because many have a 452-455-457. The groups were always better with the CZ single shot adapter because the bullit doesn’t touch the chamber
Does the 22LR CZ's in 28 inch barrel tend to have better accuracy?
i have this rifle in my cart and im about 2 seconds away from pulling the trigger! i was wondering if all these CZ 457 MTR's have the words engraved into the wood like yours apparently does. i cant see it in any of the pictures online, (or even in your video) but in your close up photos of the rifle in the beginning of the video you can sure see the words engraved. care to shed some light? thanks a ton and great vid! subbed
