In a recent interview, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made headlines when asked about his political future and whether he is considering a bid for the presidency in 2024. While DeSantis emphasized that he is currently focused on his role as Florida’s governor, he did not rule out the possibility of a presidential run, sparking speculation and excitement among his supporters.

Ever since assuming office in 2019, Ron DeSantis has gained national attention for his conservative policies, efficient governance, and steadfast leadership. His handling of the COVID-19 pandemic garnered praise from many conservatives who appreciated his data-driven approach and commitment to protecting both lives and livelihoods. As one of the first governors to lift stringent restrictions, DeSantis has been hailed as a champion of individual liberty and personal responsibility.

The rise of DeSantis as a political figure has not gone unnoticed, as he has become a favorite among Republicans seeking a strong conservative candidate for the 2024 presidential race. Despite serving as governor for just a few years, DeSantis’s rising popularity and impressive achievements have fueled speculations about his potential candidacy.

During the interview, DeSantis acknowledged that running for President is a serious consideration and that he does not want to “close any doors.” He highlighted that his priority is fulfilling his responsibilities to the people of Florida, but he did not dismiss the opportunity to embark on a larger political journey if the circumstances align.

DeSantis’s potential presidential bid is driven by his commitment to conservative values, limited government, and his belief in putting American interests first. His approach to governance centers around personal freedom, economic growth, and a commitment to preserving traditional American values.

The possibility of DeSantis running for President raises several intriguing questions. Florida is a crucial battleground state, often dubbed the “swing state,” as it can significantly impact election outcomes. DeSantis’s popularity in his home state could potentially sway the vote in his favor, given that he has successfully managed the state through numerous challenges, including natural disasters and the pandemic.

Being a young and dynamic leader in the Republican Party, DeSantis has the advantage of appealing to a wide range of voters. His strong conservative credentials and unyielding stance on hot-button issues, such as border security and law and order, resonate with many Republicans longing for a leader who will stand firm against progressive policies.

However, a potential DeSantis candidacy will undoubtedly face challenges and opposition. The national political arena can be ruthless, and DeSantis would have to navigate through tough competition within his own party. Moreover, Democrats will likely present their own formidable candidate, ready to challenge the Republican vision for the country.

Regardless of whether DeSantis decides to run in 2024, his rising prominence within the Republican Party signifies a renewed focus on conservative values and a desire for strong leadership in the face of ongoing challenges. His unwavering commitment to the principles that he believes will uplift America resonates deeply with a significant portion of the electorate.

As the 2024 presidential race begins to take shape, many will be closely watching DeSantis’s next moves. Whether he chooses to pursue the nation’s highest office or remains in Florida to continue his transformative governance, one thing is certain: Ron DeSantis will play a significant role in shaping the future of American politics.

lolz I already picked desantis noem presidency in December… hurry up… get things correct

  4. Breezy

Idk how he would do. Part of me thinks he'd to better because he doesn't have the trump behavior problems, but he may do worse because her doesn't have the dynamism that Trump had.

  5. Boa Constrictor

I’d rather DeSantis run in 2024 than Trump since he could turn the Atlanta suburbs red again and possibly turn Atlanta proper purple. Trumps awesome but I’m pragmatic

  6. Linda Diehl

I LOVE MY President — Donald John Trump — BUT…. it he says no to America — I toward Ron DeSantis! (Strong probably)

Why didn't you talk about Cruz?

  8. Unified Horizons

Desentis needs a black/ Latino VP if he’d win… if he runs on crime reform and helping black communities he’d win

  9. Paul Neal

I would like to see a Desantis/Kristi Noam ticket. Nicki Haley decided to attack Donald Trump and lost any chance of winning the GOP nomination in any capacity.

  10. robert Hines

IF TRUMP DOESENT RUN I WOULD VOTE FOR RON DESANTIS!!!!!!!!!!!!BUT I WONDER WHAT HE DID IN 1975!!!!!!!!!THE CHEATEN DEMS WILL FIND OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY ARE GETTING DIRTIER AND MORE CLEVER!!!!!!!!!!!PLUS WE HAVE TO GET OVER THERE CHEATING!!!!!!!!!!!!WE HAVE TO STOP THEM ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!PRAY FOR THE USA JESUS IS LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Ryan Water

I'd love to see Desantis run for VP with trump!!

  12. William Henry

There is also the possibility, albeit slim; NEW YORK and CALIFORNIA will lose EC points to TEXAS and FLORIDA. The Dems do want to add EC's from Puerto Rico and the banal idea of DC statehoods, who only has transients and itinerants as "citizens," but the BIG CONCERN, is the people's votes being counted fairly. Unlike 2020 where they were NOT. THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY, AND NOT USE PARTISAN CANVASSERS PUTTING FORGED BALLOTS THROUGH A VOTE COUNTING MACHINE.

  13. Johnny Red

I'd love to see a Trump/DeSantis ticket in 2024. I think they'd take it in spite of the cheating Democrats.

  14. titanmaximum2

    Trump DeSantis 2024

  16. Kent Harris

Sorry not going to vote for DeSantis. If Trump runs as a third party contender I will vote for him. I am done with the GOP.

  17. djmars1983

He just has to survive 2022 before he actually makes a 2024 run

  18. Matthew Kheyfets

Hawley is down just because DeSantis is there. Cruz same. DeSantis is probably the guy to go with. In fact, he is much better seasoned than trump and is similar policy wise so I think it is a good decision.

  19. Matthew Kheyfets

Cruz and Hawley are too Polarizing.

  20. WILLIAM TELL

DeSantis has a great resume and pro-Trump bonafides.

  21. ewallt

You’ve got Maine red on your map.

  22. Anthony Henry

DeSantis running would take away something I call, The Trump Factor. That is when somebody blind to politics, knows one thing: They hate Trump. So, anything Trump supports, that person automatically would not support. So, logically, if DeSantis were to run, and someone blind to politics had to vote, they would be more considerate to voting red. You guys agree?

  23. T H

Can't wait to see the in-fighting that takes place within what's left of the GOP. Trump has successfully split the party. Gosh the suspense is killing me here, will DeSantis run as a "Republican" or will he run as a "Rumpster" ……seeing as how Donald will more than likely be behind bars at the time, the rats will be coming out of the wood work to fill the void.

  24. PriceRight89

DeSantis is the beacon of what an American leader should be.

  25. Reevee

You've sold me on Desantis, I'll have to see how he does in the primary but yeah. Still like Rand Paul tho, but it's not his time.

  26. SenPatty

Yooo thats my governor haha! Anyway yeah, I hope DeSantis runs, I have a feeling Trump might lose in 2024.

  27. Mike Nelson

How about a Ron DeSantis/Candace Owens ticket? Two of the best to articulate the conservative message across the widest audience and both are tenacious.

  28. Ricardo Sanchez

I think DeSantis is the best bet, I don’t see Donald Trump being able to pull it off with all the lunatics against him who will work overtime to screw him over and even cheat

  29. Patrick C

Okay, so I’m asking everyone, whats the opinion of, in, order, ranking the states we have a chance to win back in 2024: I’m asking specifically about Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, & Nevada.
?? I don’t consider Ohio or Iowa swing states any longer (thankfully): however I do think New Hampshire, as well as (especially) Colorado and Virginia are lost forever. Trump lost the latter 2 by double digits.

  30. Matthew Corum

I think that what you said about New Mexico was true. Republicans have shown that they can still be competitive in the onetime swing state, formerly red state. Mark Ronchetti proved this, and it went largely unnoticed or said given how the Lujan family has been involved in statewide politics for a long time. That last name might just win him New Mexico!

  31. Matthew Corum

Hey, Nikki Haley is in third place – not bad – I am content. Swirls wine glass!

  32. Martha Indahouse

why would you try to get as close as possible to the guy who lost the election
