Just hours ago, the US Supreme Court released its decision in the Clark case, ruling that inherited IRAs are not protected in bankruptcy under federal law. In something of a surprise, the decision was a unanimous 9-0. This issue has divided courts over the last few years, with the majority of courts ruling in favor of the IRA beneficiary, but the Supreme Court went the other way with its decision.
