Hey there, I'm a old guy and I'm pretty sure I know why they didn't shoot it down and it has to do with a small nuclear bomb and the EMP affects that would totally cripple our country and it is projected that 90 percent of Americans would be dead in the first year after the EMP blast. Every vehicle, electrical and etc. Would be fried.
