Just a head's up: I will be gone until Sunday morning. I'm not ignoring anyone's questions, etc – just no access.

    Great information as always.
I like rental real estate as an inflation hedge. I own several single-family homes and three of them are on larger lots that allow for animal rights and they include pressurized irrigation water access which greatly reduces the cost to grow stuff. Currently, I have only planted various fruit trees because they are easy maintenance and I am not a farmer, but I sure like the idea of some extra food to use or trade in these interesting times.

If you decide to make a black swan video then make sure you make it from your perspective. Fear based videos do get more attention. But they usually offer little insight and only serve to incite fear. It's your calm and considered perspective on all the topics you cover that makes this channel, and you will be happier with the result as well.

I used to work with a guy whose family were farmers in Illinois. He said that while they owned acreage outright, they also rented additional acreage to increase production. The other land owners had their investment in the land and also received an annual income from the rental. I’ve read that Bill Gates is the largest private landowner in the US. You know HE isn’t getting his hands dirty.

The only question is… who tipped off Bill Gates…?
