February 2022 Vanguard Portfolio Update: S&P 500 & All-World Funds (VUSA/VWRL/VFEM) #shorts

In my latest Vanguard portfolio update for February 2022, I am pleased to report positive growth in my investments in the S&P 500, All-World, and emerging markets (VUSA/VWRL/VFEM). Despite the ongoing economic uncertainties and market volatility, my portfolio has continued to perform well.

The S&P 500, which tracks the performance of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the United States, has seen steady growth over the past month. The index has benefited from strong corporate earnings, robust economic data, and optimism surrounding the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines. As a result, my investments in VUSA, an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that mirrors the performance of the S&P 500, have generated solid returns.

Similarly, my investments in VWRL, which tracks the performance of the FTSE All-World Index, have also seen positive growth. This global equity index includes large and mid-cap stocks from developed and emerging markets, providing diversification and exposure to a wide range of sectors and regions. Despite some volatility in global markets, VWRL has delivered consistent returns, contributing to the overall performance of my portfolio.

In addition, my holdings in VFEM, an ETF that focuses on emerging markets, have performed well in February. Emerging markets have been a key driver of global economic growth in recent years, offering attractive investment opportunities for long-term investors. While these markets can be more volatile compared to developed markets, they also present higher growth potential, making them a valuable addition to a well-diversified portfolio.

Overall, I am pleased with the performance of my Vanguard portfolio in February 2022. Despite the challenges and uncertainties in the market, my investments in the S&P 500, All-World, and emerging markets have delivered solid returns, highlighting the importance of diversification and a long-term investment strategy. I look forward to monitoring the performance of my portfolio in the coming months and making any necessary adjustments to ensure continued growth and success.

I bought 10k, close to the bottom of the recent dips. I'm not interested in the short term, I'm looking at a 30 year time horizon, so its essentially a decent buying opportunity.
