When I drive through town I don’t see the businesses. I see COST, XOM, BBBY, WMT… It’s frightening.

I filed for divorce in August of 2020 and put my entire portfolio in cash while it dragged out. It was the responsible thing to do. The divorce was finalized in June of 2021, but the QDRO dragged another five months, so when it was finally split with her in December, I was able to reinvest. I knew the market was ridiculously high but I had long term goals so the responsible thing to do was reinvest. I dropped one IRA all in a NASDAQ fund because I’m bullish on tech in the long term.
