The people that complain don’t have a clue about defense, all they know is the “score”, nothing more. You play the players you have. Teams know much more about the team than anyone. Size, speed, knowledge, hurt players, must deal with what they have, and they do. Each year they draft their weak spots. There’s a lot more to the game, give them a break.
Atkins should get 5 yr deal lock him in!!!! 1.75-2 mil a yr
if verse returns our DL will be good, especially with our portal transfers (not including possibly the south carolina DE that's interested in us). if the new db coach can shore up the back end i think our defense will take a nice step forward.
Speaking of tampering. During his back-and-forth with Hykeem, Travis Hunter claimed Norvell was reaching out to him before he officially hit the portal (even though everybody knew he was leaving as soon as Deion announced).
There is some smoke for DVD from "criami" as our next DB coach……..could there be any behind the scenes connectivity for Cormani McClain as well?
I think JT doesn’t know about the outside tacklebox rule, because my man just be taken the sack. Get rid of the look back one time once ball is in air when defending the wide receiver, or its an automatic pass interference. DB should be allowed to just to play the receiver, not check for ball, and just react to receivers actions.
We needed more playmakers on defense & we got 'em. 2023 will see an improvement on defense, so I don't think Fuller is leaving. The new DBs coach will be a better HS recruiter and developer. These acquisitions will prove the Fuller naysayers wrong. Dugans was in a similar situation last year & we saw how he improved. Give it time Noles, our future is bright.
What about Dexter Carter?
I REALLY wish that we would quit making so many risky and short percentage Fourth Down plays . We take far too many of these plays when we don't really need to.
I am sorry to lose such a great RB, but WE have a lot of depth there, and we REALLY need a kicker and to build up our defense in key positions to compliment our superb offensive capability.
All I hear is babies crying when people complain about this defense, lol!
