Modern Bowlers Deserve Respect 🫡

In recent years, the sport of bowling has seen a resurgence in popularity and interest. With technological advancements and a new generation of talented bowlers, the game has evolved into a highly competitive and skillful sport. Modern bowlers have honed their craft with dedication and perseverance, and they deserve the respect and recognition that comes with their achievements.

Gone are the days when bowling was seen as a recreational activity for casual fun. Today, bowlers train rigorously, focus on technique and strategy, and demonstrate exceptional athleticism. The modern bowler is a true athlete, requiring strength, precision, and mental fortitude to excel in the sport.

One of the most significant changes in the sport of bowling is the introduction of advanced equipment and technology. Bowlers now have access to high-performance bowling balls, specialized shoes, and state-of-the-art lane conditions that require precision and finesse. These advancements have transformed the game, raising the bar for competitors and setting new standards of excellence.

In addition to equipment, modern bowlers also benefit from improved training methods and coaching techniques. They work with fitness trainers and mental coaches to enhance their physical and mental capabilities, leading to more consistent and powerful performances on the lanes.

Furthermore, the rise of professional bowling tours and competitions has given modern bowlers the opportunity to showcase their skills on a global stage. These events attract top talent from around the world, creating a platform for bowlers to compete against the best and push the boundaries of the sport.

Despite these advancements, modern bowlers often face a lack of recognition and respect compared to athletes in other sports. Bowling is sometimes still viewed as a leisure activity rather than a serious sport, leading to misconceptions about the dedication and skill required to excel in the game.

It’s time for modern bowlers to receive the respect they deserve. Their commitment to the sport, their technical prowess, and their physical abilities should be acknowledged and celebrated. It’s not just about rolling a ball down a lane – it’s about precision, strategy, and mental toughness. The modern bowler is a true athlete, and their achievements should be recognized as such.

So, the next time you see a bowler in action, take a moment to appreciate their skill and dedication. Whether they’re competing at the highest level or enjoying a casual game with friends, modern bowlers deserve respect for their contributions to the sport. Let’s give the modern bowler the recognition they deserve and celebrate their accomplishments on and off the lanes.

Modern Batsman AND Bowlers are doing better than previous generations. This is simultaneously possible because Bowling is difficult now, so Part-timers can’t bowl like they used to with the old ball and spread out field. Modern bowlers don’t have to share wickets with them, so their stats are better. Batsmen are doing better because of rules and t20 mindset

Because there are more matches bruh, earlier there were 2 groups, each team played less numbers of matches. 300+ odi mein itna asaan krdiya hai icc ne

  3. @santanukumarbehera3817

You can give respect.. But dont put in same frame with old bowlers.. Not even close to them.. Not a single bowler

  4. @Allah_is_shaitaan

Cricket has always been biased towards batting…. The aufience love a high score match they want to see runs being put up on the board….

Bowlers will have to work extra hard

test match na khelke batsman ka skill level gir gaya he to ye haal he.

  6. @Anonamousxyz

2 rules that have gone in batsman’s favour one is two new balls but that means more swing overs at the start and the other is 10-40 overs you have 4 instead of 5 out of the circle, apart from that cricket stadiums are same as before so forget about small boundaries,ya heavy bats can be one ,but before too fiat pitches were there when we had test matches of 500+ scores every time…cricket has now become more competitive and result oriented that’s why batsman going with attacking mindset and we see big scores…stop degrading modern day legends just because you are a nostalgia merchant…this generation had a very good quality cricket

Only bowlers can understand their problem

  8. @gopsda

We should remove the fielding restrictions.and remove powerplay kinda things.

Virat Kohli is less than Sachin Tendulkar's

    Brett Lee is everywhere❤

  11. @qalidurut7249

    none of them are spinners
gambhir specifically talked about how it killed career of finger spinner and ended reverse swinging

  12. @study4328

I think having big boundaries is easy to bat becz you can easily find gaps between the fields and for converting songles into doubles you need to place the ball in gap only.

  13. @zocker4968

imagine if sachin had these advantages. would've got 100 centuries in ODI only

  14. @HrithvikGill

Modern Bowlers and The batsman from sachins era and before both deserve respect

  15. @MazeOfTorment-bl1wd

Today's bowler strike almost similar but they definitely are not as efficient as they used to be. For which the the newer rules are to be blamed. Its a trend. That's it.

(One more thing that may come across as an unpopular opinion which is that nowadays cricket is driven more by the thrill of watching than the art it used to be. Players and fans like us can't complain as it is what we are enjoying. We are enjoying the thrill in return they are enjoying our money.)

  16. @fifaaditsbest

    Sadly, zampa only tied it.

  17. @mohammadmusabasif4808

To a certain point Gautum Gambhir is correct. They should change some of the rules, especially the two new balls rule. Reverse swing brings a lot of excitement into the game and will make for a more even contest.

  18. @DkWasTaken

    It’s like saying

Batsmen win you matches but bowler win you trophies

  19. @brijeshpradhan6751

Then who deserves MOTTournament Kohli or Shami?

  20. @debtanunandi232

One of the major differences is technological advancements. In current era it is easier to find weak spot of batsman by analysis.

  21. @pratiklama7087

Old was more about variations nowdays its only speed

    Australia: Oh no… Anyways

  25. @pratap8110

I think Gambhir is right. Stats without context can be misleading. For example taking wickets is a skill which is best tested in Test cricket. ODI and T20 are risky formats where batsmen take risks and get out easily. Specially T20.
Quality of players isn't defined by era but by their individual experience and performance. Average score in ODI has grown significantly because of these rules.
Even today I think ODI rules are okay, but it should now remain that way.

  26. @Anonymous36ix9

dekh liya aaj natija short boundries ka?

  27. @ankitdixit6073

Short boundaries is the biggest flaw that will turn cricket into cheerleading. Imagine every six which lands till the hoardings is actually a catch.
