Update as of Mar 14,2021: Maari na rin po kayong mag file ng retirement application sa sss online sa http://www.sss.gov.ph
at mag enroll na rin ng inyong disbursement account kung saan nyo gustong matanggap ang retirement pension/retirement lumpsum.kung walang bank account, maaring mag enroll sa disbursement account enrollment module ng gcash, paymaya, cimb, dbp cash padala kung ano man ung mas convenient para sa inyo.Ngunit sa may mga problema sa birth certificate at ndi nakapagpasa sa sss nung panahon na xa ay nagaapply pa lamang ng sss number o E1 o kaya naman ay nagkaproblema sa pag file sa online ay maari nyong gwin ang 2nd option na manual filing at ipasa sa pinakamalapit na branch sa inyong lugar. sa mga mag oopen naman ng bank account para sa sss pension, kung hanapan kayo ng introduction certificate sa banko ay dun po yun makukuha sa sss at ipakita sa banko kung saan kau mag oopen ng account para sa retirement pension. Para naman sa mga self employed, voluntary or ofw na ang huling hulog sa sss contribution ay wala ng employer, ndi na kailangan pa mgpapirma sa employer.skip na po un.para lang un sa mga magpa file ng retirement na ang huling hulog sa sss contribution ay galing pa sa last employer
