This is as much school's fault as it is these children's parents and grandparents. I teach my grandchildren how lucky they are to have been born into this country. I also teach them that if we do not stand up for each other and unite, we will not have a country soon. At least not the country I grew up knowing.
Maybe it was different for me because I was a child during the bicentennial. We were being taught heavily about what our forefathers went through to secure our freedoms and that they were willing to die for it.
Teach them nothing but stupidity in school race theories of everything else that needs to be taught loyalty to your country how to read and write and know the history but I guess that makes you too smart so they don't want you to be smart they want you to be dumb so they can control you and the younger so stupid they don't even realize it they're making you stupid so they can do what they want with you in the next Generations grow up kids education is key

The American educational system has been producing an inferior product for at least a couple decades now. It's based on a flawed system meant to produce a compliant population to begin with, rather than emphasizing critical thinking skills. They don't even teach basic civics or U.S. government, and what passes for history has been severely butchered and revised to a parody.

Not surprising. They know very little about anything outside their own little social bubbles and have no realization of the hardships faced by so many in impoverished countries. If they had any idea at all how great they have it compared to so many in the third world they would be thankful every day they were born in the USA.
Take away all phones computers, easy way of life. Let them work for everything, be broke for a while. Walk the shoes of past veterans. Depressions of past, stockmarket crashes, 401 savings in the tank. Maybe after awhile they would appreciate the USA!!
