I review the dividend distribution and explain why one dividend ETF is better than the other ETF regarding earning passive income and dividend income in the long run. Enjoy the video and subscribe!

I used to have big positions in QYLD and RYLD both earning over 100$/ month but the Dividends kept dropping hard along with the share prices. I sold at a decent loss during the most recent bottom, and started positions in QYLG XYLG SCHD and IWM(to one day have 100 shares to replicate my own version RYLD! I'd rather acquire indexes that trade heavy and be in charge of my own calls and puts) I'm already in the green with SCHD QYLG and IWM. The YLGs earn half the distributions vs YLDs. However the growth potential in share price plus 50% of the AUM are in covered calls its the best of both worlds.

Apple 18.5 Qyld 45 Microsoft 18 Costco 18.5 vs SCHD 100 not only does that portfolio smashes schd it’s income is more then 3 times as high

I've been buying QYLD on the dips. Collecting the dividend now and expecting to collect a capital gain on NAV appreciation when NASDAQ recovers.

  5. Average Joe Dividends

The main appeal for QYLD is the current high yield and monthly distribution. There is a cross over point where SCHD will yield as much as QYLD which I am guessing is 20 years or so. By that point though, the SCHD shares will be worth more than double QYLD with the same dividends.

SCHD is really good!!! QYLD is good for current income. SCHD is defiantly a great long-term play. I think SCHD is better than VOO and SPY.

  7. E6Three

Love SCHD…Flushed QYLD out of my portfolio earlier this year…

I've been a dividend income investor for 25 years one thing you got to keep in mind is the dividend growth qyld is 10% dividend yield now 10% in 10 years 10% and 20 years. SCHD is 3% now but 10% in 10 years and over 20% in 20 years. So in 20 years you'll have double the dividend income in schd versus qyld

  9. Passive Dividends & Options

QYLD is an interesting etf, however I agree with you – long term this etf will underperform growth-wise vs most other etfs.
