TRANSFER TUESDAY:
I started the Transfer Tuesday movement to motivate myself on my debt free journey to make more progress and celebrate smaller wins throughout the month. Each week I commit to doing SOMETHING no matter how small to move me closer to reaching my financial goals. It started with $5 in a week and sometimes I’m doing $500 or even $5,000. It’s truly about forward progress each week.
Transfer Tuesday is the day of the week where I share our financial moves to stay on track and motivate others too. Y’all are amazing and have made this series something that is so motivating to me beyond what I could have imagined!
Every single week I’m committed to working on these goals. Making consistent progress every week is helping us get closer to our big dreams.

Thankful to you for motivating me and keeping me consistent when I let you! So when the one time debt relief was announced, I found out I could refund any payments made since 2020. I ended up getting more than I originally wanted but all that is now in a high interest savings and I applied and was approved for the relief! Now just to let the money continue to work until I can get that 10k and pay off the nelnet loans, again, in full!

I started a "2025 FUND" in my Capital One account saving $145 per paycheck until June 2025. I'm saving $20,250 for when my 4th and youngest child turns 18 and graduates from high school. I lose my child support and I want to have a buffer but also take a big trip with my 4 kids as an almost empty nester!!!!

I’m thankful for extra unexpected $$ this month bc I had to put a large medical bill on my credit card and was worried it would take me 3 months or longer to pay off. Now it’s gone!! Woot for carrying no credit card debit since 2006. (Use only for emergency)

I am THANKFUL for you for creating Transfer Tuesday! I started watching your videos earlier this year but my money was never in a place where I could participate. I finally started doing Transfer Tuesday at the end of September, and I already have $150 saved towards my goal. I can’t believe how quickly it adds up! Thank you for keeping us all inspired to do great things with our money!
