Managing your money is an important part of life. It can help you stay on top of your finances and make sure you are making the most of your money. Here are some tips for how to manage your money effectively.

Budgeting: Creating a budget is a great way to start managing your money. A budget will help you track your expenses, plan for upcoming expenses, and make sure you are staying within your means. Set a budget and stick to it to ensure that you are not overspending.

Savings: Having a savings account is essential for managing your money. Having a savings account will help you save for the future and provide a safety net in case of an emergency. Try to set aside a certain amount of money each month to put into your savings account.

Debts: If you have any debts, make sure to pay them off as soon as possible. Paying off your debts will help you get out of debt faster and will save you money in the long run.

Investments: Investing your money is a great way to make it work for you. Consider investing in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other investments to help your money grow. Make sure to do your research before investing and be sure to diversify your investments.

These are just a few tips for how to manage your money effectively. Managing your money can be a challenge, but with the right strategies, you can make sure you are making the most of your money.

Overall, what do you value more, paying off debt or saving? I know you've touched on this. For example, I just had a $1000 unexpected car repair, and I'm trying to build my savings. Do I sacrifice my savings and pay it all off or pay in increments and still save? Curious on your opinion!

I’ve always hear closing CCs was bad. Maybe it’s different in Canada

Been wanting you to post an updated version of your 'how I manage my money' video and you really did. That's a win for me. Hehe. 😀 Can you post your financial regrets or money things you wish you knew in your early 20s? Just a video suggestion.

This was actually super helpful. I sometimes feel embarrassed that I don’t know anything and don’t have a burning interest in it either, but definitely want to be more proactive. This is giving me somewhere to begin. Thank you!

Hello Carter, Thanks for sharing your financial journey with us. Do you put all the required data in the transaction tracker at the bottom of the template? I know you mentioned you don't track every dollar anymore. I find it time consuming to list Income, debt, investment, and expenses in the tracker. Thanks

This video is a great reminder to get your financial advice from certified professionals! I’m a CPA and it’s so annoying when people take some crypto bros advice over mine that I studied very hard for. Love watching your money videos ❤️

I love this! Also just want to throw out there for anyone newer to credit cards that it’s a good idea generally to keep your older cards open unless you have other long standing credit history, because your length of credit can impact your credit score quite a bit.
