Interesting . Most of folks do not have the option to buy stocks in their 401K.

wait.. implying that you buy your first 8k and waiting for that stock to lose value before buying another 8k is dumb. it only means the stock is losing value,its either too volatile or financials are terrible and people are selling it. wich is a bad thing to invest in… seriously matt,do you even realise what you are saying sometimes?

just a question, what if i bought some stocks and left it for a few years(will it be considered dormant?) and also remove the bank associated with the broker account what happens? can i still claim those stocks? after a few years?
Well that was misleading. Yiu only started trading after depositing 38k in your account. So you didn’t grow this from almost zero. A move from 38k to 120k is still impressive, but a very different accomplishment than doing so from 400$. Most small Investors don’t have 38k, they have 400$ in their account. So the challenge is how to grow a 400$ account to 38k! That kind of video would be much more helpful for small investors.
