OK; am doing my daughter's taxes and her line 1 (1040) wages salaries etc was $12,400. She live is Germany and her "other income" is basically a negative number (I believe a credit) on line 8 (1040) of -$11,837. Thus her adjusted gross income is only $563!! (line 9 and line 11 of the 1040). Is $563 the limit of her possible Roth IRA contribution?
