Yeahhh. Much better ROI, but I'm not keeping my actual Emergency Fund in stable coins. Extra investment capital? Sure. But even then the potential tax complications between moving funds around through stablecoins you earned interest on compiled with the risk profile doesn't make this a very attractive option for me. I use stablecoins, but my EF is locked away in a brick and mortar bank with purposely no way to take cash out without actually walking into the lobby and asking for it. Stick to a strict definition of what an EF is and should be. If you're concerned about inflation than hedge against it. I'm buying I Series bonds, precious metals, and extra bitcoin at the inflation rate relative to my cash balances without walking that actual cash further out into the risk spectrum than it needs to be at all.
