   When I opened my traditional IRA on E*TRADE it doesn’t say wether is non deductible or whatnot. Is there way to find out? Thank you

    Hi, I have a question. At the end, you made $6000.12 conversion. I understand that you may pay tax for 0.12 but limit per year is $6000. Even you paid tax for $0.12, how about investment income from $0.12?

    I opened and funded the traditional IRA, do I open a ROTH IRA at the same time as the Traditional and then just convert the cash from traditional to roth, or do I wait on opening the roth until I do the conversion. Thanks

    If I make between 124000 and 139000 can I create a backdoor roth ira or do I have to contribute to a normal Roth with a reduced amount? I would rather create the backdoor to contribute the full 6000. Thanks!

    why not just deposit from bank directly to roth ira? i deposited from my bank to roth ira.
