To start comparing quotes and simplify insurance-buying, check out Policygenius: Thanks to Policygenius for sponsoring this video!

In this video, I will show you exactly how to buy your first index fund (the right way).

Index funds are baskets of stocks designed to replicate/track a specific market index.

They are passively managed investments that offer low expense ratios/fees vs. actively managed funds.

Index funds typically match the risk and return of the overall index that they are trying to track.

There are over 2,400+ index funds available to be traded, with many different types.

Here are a few examples:

1. Broad Market ($VTI)
2. Market Cap (Large, Mid, Small)
3. Equal Weight ($RSP)
4. Factor-Based (Value, Div, Volatility)
5. Sector-Based (Banking, Tech, etc.)
6. International (Track a specific index)
7. Debt (Bonds, etc.)

Stay tuned throughout the entire video as I give a live demo of me purchasing an index fund!

Dividends are what got me into investing in the stock market. The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. Have over $600K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further.

I sincerely appreciate the work you've done and the knowledge you share. Technical analysis can be helpful, but I think It is quite puzzling that well-known cryptocurrency YouTubers just pay attention to pure T.A and entirely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is inflating and why the outlook for the future is even more encouraging than it seems. Ignoring the reality that each ETF launch to this point has caused a sizable decline from BTC highs is somewhat dangerous. We were already in a perilous position and only survived a protracted bear market due to historically low volume and nearly whale pumps. Day trading should be given greater consideration because it is less affected by the market's situation. trading daily with Ruby Benally I have earned over $ 12BTC using her insights and charts. Her insight has always been a step ahead of others…

Out of many such videos out there, this is definitely the best, which covers not only basics but shows a clear process on how to build the portfolio and tools which can be leveraged for your own research and consumption. Great job Marko. Kudos!!

When it comes to investment, diversification is key. That is why I have my interests set on key sectors based on performance and projected growth. i made my first million from my portfolio ranging from the EV sector, renewable energy, Tech and Health alongside coins, and gold. I'm also working on an investment plan that includes NFTs with my FA, Susan Kay Mack. It's been a year and half of steady growth…i have no doubt investing more.

Stocks for the win!! As a beginner investor, I used a few things to really help expand my knowledge of the stock market in a way that was pretty digestible for a new investor. I still reference it fairly often to get a quick overview of a stock to understand it's surface-level fundamentals by using an advisor, and I can't recommend that method of learning enough! I use James Fletcher Brennan he is super helpful to a lot of beginners out there, thanks for sharing

Curious as to more thoughts on overlap. I have a lot of ETF's and there is some overlap. I have been viewing it as investing in the same stocks through different means. Is overlap really a bad entity and is it best to pare down the ETF's to avoid overlap? P.S.: I don't live in the basement eating Mom's pizza rolls. Thanks.

Because of the economic crisis that always comes up the best thing to be on every wise individual’s mind or list is to invest in different streams of income that’s not depending on the government to generate funds.

I appreciate your approach to teaching.. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. In my portfolio, I'm noticing more red than green and my retirement is edging closer by the day.

That’s what people need to realize about overlapping index funds. It’s more about the weighting rather than the overlap. VTI, SCHD, and FTEC is my portfolio.
