For those who say 6-9 months of living expenses are impossible – it’s not like that – she means cut down on extra stuff like morning coffee or eating out. Save your money instead of not thinking twice to buy something and actually put the money away somewhere else where u can’t spend it . Every day even just 5$ will make a difference if in 6 months your car messes up and it’s a 900$ job ..

Viv is it okay? To not pay your credit cards and let them say lets make a deal ? I know it destroys your credit but you pay less and the burden os gone

Can you do a video on how we can figure out what to invest in? I’m 23 and I have a pretty good savings built up.. however, the interest rate sucks and I’d like to invest some of it.. I’ve considered opening a Roth IRA, but I’m not sure

So we ARE in a recession? Guess the Biden Administration didn’t get the memo.

  22. Catherine Sutton

All i hear from bankers and government officials is that we arent in a recession. They obviously don't go to the grocery. Do these people think we're stupid?

  23. chicle97

Thanks for the advice and reminders that we’ve always been able to recover precious recessions! ❤

my recession preparation is buying as many bags of dried beans as possible while I still have money. got 10 so far. Enough protein to last a month. Got some canned tomatoes for vitamin C. That and rice will hopefully get me through if I lose my job. Winter will be tough but luckily the tree in my hard makes edible leaves so I should do OK next summer.

See, there's the difference between poor and rich. We don't have the luxury of coming out of recessions with more money. Just more debt.

  25. MiraBanxx

The recession is already here. it's almost as if they want to keep people frazzled by saying "it's coming" rather than admiting were already in it.

  26. Svetlana

No recession ever did not recover but one led into the Great Depression…

  27. Sebastien Seb

Perhaps he means a "depression". I believe it will happen.

  28. Christina Robleto

Working 12-13 hour days right now to pay off debt by end of year, might have to take a 2nd job to help with savings
