How would a VA disability be seen by the RRB/IRS? If I am receiving a monthly disability payment will that effect my retirement? Could railroad retirement effect my disability compensation?
If you pay into both railroad and into a state pension by yourself and also pay social security with side work. How does this scenario affect you?
You mentioned no withholding of SS taxes, does that apply to the pension only? Will this reduction still apply if my wife is paying SS taxes on her wages and will be eligible for SS when she reaches retirement age?
If you (or your spouse) is getting a pension (CALPERS) but paid Social Security while working for the state agency then there won't be a reduction, correct?
