In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Christopher Rufo’s discussion on “Imposing Limits on the Woke” has sparked a lot of debates online. Rufo, a prominent conservative commentator, argues that the “woke” movement has gone too far and needs to be pushed back.

According to Rufo, the “woke” movement is characterized by a set of beliefs and behaviors that have become dominant in many universities, corporations, and government agencies. These beliefs include an emphasis on identity politics, an obsession with racial and gender diversity, and a desire to root out systemic oppression in all aspects of society.

Rufo argues that while some of these ideas may have merit, they have been taken to extremes, leading to a culture of political correctness and intolerance. He believes that the “woke” movement can be harmful to free speech and individual freedoms, as it seeks to censor and silence anyone who disagrees with its orthodoxy.

To combat this, Rufo proposes imposing limits on the “woke” movement. He suggests that we need to encourage more diversity of thought and opinion, calling for a greater emphasis on free speech and intellectual pluralism. He also argues that we need to be more skeptical of the “woke” movement’s claims and hold them accountable for their actions.

Rufo’s views have been met with both support and criticism. Some argue that his proposals are a necessary corrective to the excesses of the “woke” movement, which they see as having gone too far in its quest for social justice. Others, however, argue that his ideas are an attempt to silence marginalized voices and perpetuate the status quo.

Regardless of one’s opinion on the matter, it is clear that the “woke” movement has become a powerful force in society today. As we continue to navigate these issues, it is essential that we remain open-minded and willing to listen to different perspectives. Only by doing so can we ensure that we are creating a truly inclusive and tolerant society for all people.

The imaginary purple ball turns into a simple and intuitive curve of gray against a yellow background. Well, what's up. Why did I preliminarily use the word "preliminarily" at the beginning of this sentence? Well, it is not that the ass is less important than the head. It is equally important, or even more important. To myself, I think that at the end of the day, so or so, or even "so or so," and so on and so forth and so on and so on. It's sort of like, or so-and-so. A certain absurdity. Certain, because I can't quite answer with this absurdity the role of paradox in the universe. Limited, yet infinite, although Einstein believed the opposite.
I am, and being my "punctus" and Ewa Kuryluk is hiding socks in the closet for the spring/summer 2004 season. Somehow twenty years have passed like one day and Karwowski is picking strawberries in Rajch with McDonk. They're paid poorly, half a jewro, but if they come, they'll buy themselves office furniture with Robert Lewandowski's German Bundesliga money. Anyway, they are known for this and that and that…. they are also known for this and that, but only for that, because not for that about here.
As if I were to speak also otym, you know about this one, this one this one, this one that one, this one that one too. So this one with that one? Yes, the one with that one and those ones. These ones are his? And his and that other one.
So if in such a chaos of events and shapes senseless without order, boiling and being as if an attribute of a temporary brute – here are the heroes. One of them traverses the outer fringes, where everything dangerous and in disorder is found. He has to bargain, to make something out of almost nothing, and he has only effort and patience at his disposal, because everything is arranged so that no root sticks out too high. That's just the way it has to be, so that there is some order in it. From these frontiers, from where the spoils and experience he takes goes under the walls of a sort of city, and a sort of desert encircled by an impenetrable wall. In the middle of this desert is a temple of order, prayer and sanctification. \\\agent stands in front of the wall and teleports multipoint by 123456789100, 012345678910 and 001234567891. He is inside, in the desert, as his codes have been recognized. He ended up in a hot desert of freedom, automatism and enslavement. He has to maneuver on the silver-gold bright sand. After many attempts, he arrives at the temple of clarity, where he has always headed, and disappears there in an ideal. He is taken apart like an onion, and begins to form a unity with the other wanderers, for as he reveals himself from the beauty of the colors, he begins to fit his reality, like a puzzle, into all other realities.
Bravo! He achieved what he wanted. The bright temple is proud of him, and he has united with the pale central light of the temple. This light illuminates the entire desert and its vortex with its heat. However, it sends naked signals through the basement from its center, which are sent outside the walls of the great city. There, these signals turn into wanderers re-collecting experiences. It's all through fantasy, because that's the model of consciousness.
Now focus upward in your head, in the back of your head and spit this focus downward with your mouth. Several times. Count backwards from 100 to 1, and listen to the colors. White, yellow, green, red, blue, black, light brown, dark brown, purple, purple, maroon, transparent, silver, gold, celadon, pink, blue, ying-yang, line, gray, line, orange, line, rotten-green, line, first color unimaginable, second color unimaginable, third color unimaginable, linear transgression.
Now listen to this – fun, benefit, safety, fantasy, fear, faith, history, emptiness, loss, femininity, calculations, colors, need, quality, randomness, love, freedom and last, but very important… happiness.

Such an inspirational conversation, as is to be expected from the two gentlemen involved. In a Western world being retarded and deconstructed by rabid post-modernist, Marxist identity politics, conversations like this are not only refreshing (and rare), but provide a glimmer of hope in a world where having a meaningful discussion is more likely to get you arrested than derive any kind of rational outcome. We can always expect the best from Dr. Peterson, albeit that should never be under-appreciated, but Christopher Rufo should also be congratulated and cheered for championing sanity, merit and decency. Thank you, both.

Hey cool video. Jordan I hope you read this. Can your production team at DW consider replacing your microphone setup? Your natural tendency to lean in and out tells me there has to be a better way. I'm missing some things said by you due to the mic being stationary while you are dynamic.

@9:55 unequal talent and wealth; restraint duty and obligation: One can only wonder how in this day even our mind is not our own. Maybe yesterday we could use what God and our heritage gifted us but now…! Even now they steal our mind of any little piece of identity so what we are groomed and trained for is theirs and never to be our own. We are not forced against a dragon to slay with responsibility, we are instead the scales protecting the dragon from being sliced dead. The very dragon we must slay through our discipline inevitably destroys us before even it dies. A split so wide we may as well be on Mercury and them a planet much better than earth. The "WAR OF THE WORLDS" was so far off unless the Aliens were metaphorically us and our revolt the fate of enivatible death. So far off to think there are aliens who want to kill us when a simple algorithm from the code of a ruling class is plenty to have us stored in an eternal prison. Rulers of a class our own minds make superior, rule us. Owned like stupid sheep, mindless and meek. A resolution must start by eliminating the peak for these rulers of the pyramid have fostered in a sin soo deep we would be forced to kill ourselves to sleep among them. We are the enemy alien and they are killing us.

  9. L_Alvarez_1k

Maybe we need to realize that poverty and inequality within even the wealthiest nations isn't a problem meant to be completely fixed. Maybe it's the responsibility of every generation to develop itself through the very real and hard truths of human nature. We know one thing for sure. A person will weild their free will, whether the rest of us agree with their choices or not. We each need to be generous, truthful, courageous and compassionate…for starters, then reevaluate those 4 and reprioritize them as needed.

  10. Keifer Kif

"imposing limits on the woke" sounds like thought policing, hopefully it's just clickbait.

  11. theonenamed

I'm disappointed by Jordan in this one. He said he wanted to play friendly enemy but he barely pushed Rufo. I really was interested in Jordans perspective on limiting or controlling free speech with those florida legislations but they didn't even really engage with that facette of those policies. I wish Jordan kept the same energy critiquing conservatives as he does with the left. He seems not entirely but heavily onesided, that's Jordans biggest flaw in my opinion.

  12. Cyn

It is indeed time for action. Enough is enough. No one is coming to save us, we must save ourselves.

  13. James Bass

Yeah, I remember Obama started this , when he said we have went back to tribalism. Divide and concur

  14. James Bass

Yeah, you need to talk to our conservative Congress members, alot of them are still in the dark, far as dealing with the new Left.

  15. James Bass

Mr. Rufo, explains the Left very well,so glad I came across this post.

  16. Hectors House

So much for MLK then…race grifters destroyed his work

  17. StarShine Ranch

Winning a big lottery prize usually DESTROYS a person or family. Giving $5 million to every Black in SF will do the same. The local car, jewelry, and drug dealers will see a spike in profits, and the Blacks will be back into poverty in no time. Because people who never HAD money don't know HOW to save and grow it when they get some.

  18. Ms. Lexicophile

It's just stupid to hear the phrase, "haters will hate". If haters could realize hatred is a disease, they could definitely heal. Hatred is when you have no tolerance for the machine's existence instead of how it works. But not every instruction could be given submissively. Imagine you have to instruct 30 people who're arranged in a 5×6 array separated by 1 ft between each row and column, you have to invest the energy to reach the farthest person in the array. Wokeness is mistaking that voice for arrogance and abuse.

  19. Robert Tyrrell

Conservatives, Judeo christians are some of the most accepting ppl. Thats being used as a cudgel upon our own morality. The more we accept the more Liberals erode our ethics. Its time to draw a line in the sand before we concede all our morality to evil divisive monsters.

  20. Brenda

This begins with criticism of the left/Marxism, but gets to the true root of the agenda: it is about race. Simply Black/African -blaming and anti-Black/African racism. And typically Peterson psychopathologising of those who disagrees with (e.g., calling Derrick Bell paranoid).

By the way, Peterson, there are no Black girls without a fathers. Sick rubbish! Attributing the harsher treatment of Black girls to early puberty, Black girls, well before puberty ar treated less favourably that white girls.

DeSantis (racist bigot) is just banning the teaching African American history because he argues that there is no value in this (but other histories are ok to teach). No consideration these two of the psychological harm done to Black children by their histories exclusion I teaching.

Critical race theory is not the school curriculum. Stop blaming Black people. Peterson did not try to “torture” this guest at all. He is not a “benevolent critic” at all, as he described himself. His guest did not need to seek reassurance that he had convinced Peterson about his ideas.

    Stop blaming Black/African people.

  21. Mark U moeder

You know what comes to mind when i hear
    "woke monopolistic teacher certification"
"Ive heard that pedophiles are going to child occupied environments"
    That was a dangerous brainspider.
    Imagine the money involved.
All while our white population is in a decline, coincidence???

  22. MaGuffintop

Mr. Rufo, please slooow down, take a breath, you’ve got time to speak. Stammering is not a good sound- not a good look to appear afraid someone is going to grab the mic & run.

  23. Kenneth Gottfried

C.R.A.P. Oh my god what are you guys talking about period oh those other guys oh Those people who want to put you in a closet and only let you do this and do that. Do you really think the right is open question? Mark? They're only a little bit more open right now Because they don't have the presidency and send it. You guys are talking like you're freaking born again? Christians oh my god i'm free I realize it I get it now. Climb out of your Box and realize the right the left are fringes. The average person is in the middle and doesn't pay attention to the fringes.
You sound like two little kids cackling about something you tried for the first time whether it's chocolate sex or whatever.
Stop posing is something and saying the other side is wrong when both sides are wrong

  24. Isabel Reyes

In my city spends about $80k of tax dollars on each homeless person per year. that is stupid. The left would like to blame the Wealthy and inequality for all the worlds problems it’s just not real

  25. Steve Morris

At 33:30 Peterson talks about Unintended Consequences and it reminds me of making changes to Complex Systems. The more complicated the system like Law, Taxes, Regulations, Grants, etc the more Unintended Consequences arise from making changes that may seem straightforward.

  26. Dominicaislandmon

Excellent interaction and discussion. So good….. as a famous philosopher once said, "Git 'er done!"

  27. jjroseknows777

I was happy to hear someone so articulate and well-versed to give Jordan some great pushback. That IS what he seeks to have more clarification and correction in the upper levels of thinking. Above all Jordan seeks the truth.
I am afraid that Jordan's mind is so fecund with ideas that he can sometimes be almost waiting to pounce, to interject and carry the flow to his way – so much so that the other becomes almost an opponent for grasping the time. I find this with Vervaeke too, so many ers and uhs just trying to hold the floor, it.makes for a jerky presentation – always trying to head off being cut off. Relax a bit, Jordan, give "other" breathing room as he or she expresses the ideas YOU came for. Love you! Great

I believe that most of our modern problems can be attributed to the abdication of power. The people abdicated to the politicians, the politicians to the governors or president, and the president to the bureaucrats
